Wow! This post and your "watering system" reminds me of the Nazca lines and their underground water system.

While there is no established direct relation between the Nazca Lines and their underground water system in Nazca, looking at your drawings and the geometry book, I definitely can see the connection. :)

Although, German mathematician, Maria Reiche thought the lines formed a large-scale celestial calendar, some theory suggests that the Nazca Lines had religious or ceremonial significance. It is believed that the Nazca people, who created the lines, may have constructed them as offerings to the gods or as part of rituals related to water, fertility, or agricultural practices.

As for the watering system, the Nazca people lived in a very dry and arid region where water was scarce. To irrigate their crops, they designed a practical system of underground canals and aqueducts that brought water from the mountains. This system is still in use today and is considered to be one of the most impressive and sophisticated agricultural technologies of the ancient world.

I was really impressed how Peruvian people still using the ancient watering system across the country till today. Also, curious how your plan will work out :)
Looking forward to your future post :)

Good luck with the new garden plan🍀

This is beyond awesome!!!

They look a lot like dew ponds to me which naturally collect water in the mornings and run it down into the watering system. Genius idea.

Had no idea such things still existed till now. Thank you so much for sharing.
