Worries & Such As Trammi Lingers

avatar
(Edited)

Typhoon Trammi (locally known as Kristine) still lingers. Some places like ours have continuing downpours with no winds and others the opposite (strong gusts but not much rains). Our power went off around 3 am and yet to be restored. We are hoping the typhoon weakens and leave us be.

The weather and many things are worrying me, to be honest. Mom's oxygen tank is already empty but the roads are closed due to landslides and with the rains and danger, it may take a while for them to get cleared out. My brother is trying not to alarm us but he is obviously stressed out and so are we.

I thought I just needed a whole massage so the hubby happily obliged. It usually relaxes me afterward but for some reason, it didn't work last night.

I was restless, feeling like I was on the edge, and it was as if my whole body was being pricked by a thousand needles. My hormones must be playing with me, I said when deep within I know I was just panicking.

So while it is not my habit, I gulped down some pills. And thankfully, I slept for a few hours only to wake up at dawn grumpy, just like my pup😂

Joking aside, my Lil Guy seems to suffer my pain too and my guilt bothers me for making him feel that way.

And so today, I will try to calm my nerves, knowing that these circumstances we are in will soon come to pass. Trammi will leave eventually, the sky will turn out brighter, and my parents are going to be okay. May the Heavens hear our plea🙏

Happy Friday, frens! May you all be safe and sound wherever you may be.

Hardest hit was Bicol. I hope they recover in that part of our country. Some colleagues have families there and it's distressing what happened to their houses while some people have lost people.

So sorry to hear about the storm's effects. I hope your Mom is able to get her tank refilled soon. I know what it's like to be in the grips of hurricanes, tornadoes and tropical storms. I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas.

Take care. Sending prayers for your family's safety and health.

The storm has left, I believe. Unfortunately, it wrecked some places.

Thank you for your prayers, I greatly appreciate it❤ Hope everything is well with you :)

Yes, all is well. And I can understand the devastation. We're still cleaning up after Hurricane Beryl visited the 1st week of July. We had downed trees and tons of neighborhood debris that still all hasn't been collected. We lost power for 5 days. Fortunately, we had a generator.
