Who's That Woman?

Hola!

I have mentioned it a couple of times that I still think I was in my 30s, although in reality, I'm already in my mid-40s. Why I still feel 30, I have absolutely no idea. Perhaps it's because I got married at that age, and since I don't have children, I got stuck in that era of my life. Maybe... just maybe.

But yes, I still feel younger (internally), not always, but most of the time. It wasn't only me, but the hubby too. It's a different story, though, if you ask us whether we look younger or older (so better not, LOL).

Wait, what the heck am I blabbering about?

One question this week in the LoH community is whether we feel younger or older for our age.

So yeah, my answer is younger. A lot younger, in fact, depending on my mood. I usually feel young when I'm excited. That's probably normal. I do try to act appropriately. But when I am exhausted, I feel like I am the oldest, lol. Pain here and there. Ouchy, this or that.😅 Pretty normal, I guess.

The truth is, I often get surprised when I look in the mirror and see a different image than the 30-year-old gal I was expecting. "Dang! You've gotten older!" I tease myself at times, pinching my cheeks, which have shrunk a lot.

Or I would exclaim loudly, "Oops, you are many years wiser!" when I find a grey strand on my head. Mom's genes are quite dominant. My sisters and I took after her. We started to have grey strands early (40+). But it's okay. It's not something to be ashamed about. According to my cousin, it's a sign we have gained wisdom, lol!

Anyway, for how long would I be feeling 30, I don't know. Hope to stay that way, remain curious, keep engaging in the things I like, be playful, and be mentally and physically active.

I would want you to continue to feel 30 for as long as possible. Play, be cheerful, do the things you enjoy with hubby and be youthful.

Lol, it's kind of the opposite for me. I feel old most of the times lol, the feeling doesn't make sense at all to me, but part of it could be attributed to consuming information that are above my age, both literally and figuratively :)

Maybe when you reach your mid-age, you will feel the opposite too, hehe

It’s refreshing how you embrace your youthful spirit while reflecting on the wisdom that comes with age. Your humor really makes the read enjoyable.

Seeing yourself change over the years and still acting young is kind of entertaining, I'm growing every day and I notice it, too obvious 😂

Wowwww
Even with the way you write your articles, one would think you’re at your thirties
Keep having that spirit and never lose hope on having a child
