Weekend Ramblings :-)

(Edited)

We had company earlier in the day (my brother brought 12 of his boys/workers), so while they took good care of things outside, I was so busy cooking (to be fair, the hubby prepared all of them and all I did was watch, stir, and taste, lol). Breakfast was served at half past 8 in the morning, midday snacks at 11 am, and then lunch at 1 pm. Saying I was tired is an understatement, but it felt good and satisfying to have had them fed well while they were here.

They left around 5 pm after some light snacks, which included my homemade cold treat - magnum ice candy. I enjoyed one myself while checking out the crypto charts. It's a simple delight made from three ingredients: evaporated milk, sweetened thick creamer, and chocolate. Sweet and surprisingly yummy!

I came across the recipe online and thought I'd make some. Maybe it will rekindle my forgotten love for making cold treats. Well, the candy turned out to be very tasty. The boys loved them and even teased if there were enough leftovers for them to take home. Sorry (not sorry), but I only made 22 pieces, so maybe next time?😅

Kidding aside, I'm just happy they came and extended a much-needed helping hand, especially when our four boys (hired helpers) couldn't do everything on their own.

Anyway, it's the weekend, and with it comes evaluating our progress during the last seven days (today included). I was not going to give an update today, but the optimism in the crypto market got me feeling enthusiastic. So, here are the numbers for week 28:

Week 27Week 28 (current)+ / -
Savings1,7081,732+24 HBD
Sats187,522187,5220

Good growth on the savings, thanks to interest received. There was nothing added to my Sats as I slept on it (I halted the auto-convert, obviously because the price was above $105k).

Meanwhile, HIVE had a bit of action during the day, reaching 26 cents and then quickly dropping to 24 cents before I could make a trade. I wasn't fast enough.

Finally, just a wee HP check: 26735, recording an increase of 241 HP in twelve days. All good! And with these, let me call it a night (although the truth is, I'm probably snoring by the time this publishes, lol)!

Happy weekend, frens!

Wait what 12 kids? I get tired just thinking about that.

Isn’t it great to roost over your crypto eggs when they are on a big run? I am wondering if alts will ever do anything but get pulled up a little on pumps.

Haha, sorry for the confusion. When I speak of boys, I meant workers, not kids. My brother has only 2 princesses :)

Yes, it's quite nice to trade some and then buy again when they drop. I was also wondering if alts will ever have their big pumps. I mean BTC is doing pretty well.

Thanks, I guess the goal kept me going :)

My brother has only 2 kids. What I was referring to as "boys" in my post are his helpers/workers😉

Wow that's a good increase in your HP but just thinking of how full your house will be with 12 boys no girl well even though there's a girl among them they are capable of converting her to boy🤣😂 I like this one eeeeh! You must use the biggest pot in your house to cook because bos can eat like no man's business 💪👍😁🤣

We have a full house each time the boys (workers) are around. And yes, we use big pots when cooking for them. Plus lots and lots of tablewares to wash after each meal😅

It is our responsibility to take care of the people who work for us. When we take care of their little things, they work with their hearts. If the production is good, then there is good profit. So all these people are also our brothers and they are very hardworking.

To be honest I shocked to hear that you were busy in cooking. At least I am sure I didn't read about you to cook something.

Your saving increased quite well. 24 HBD is quite good.
