Weekend in DD

A lovely, warm, and bright Saturday morning in DD. So I took advantage of it and basked in the sunshine with my little one. While strolling outside, we noticed the banana at the edge of the property, which I had asked the hubby to harvest over a week ago. He said yes, but he hasn't done it until now, so typical of him, lol! Yes, he forgets.

I found out that the birds (or maybe rodents) have already enjoyed some of them. Aha! They need potassium, too, huh? And so I thought I would clean them later (after my Yongi got warmed up), and then cover them with a sack so they would ripen naturally, and we would enjoy them soon. Seeing me with the ladder, the husband came to the rescue and did the job himself. Oh, okay, thank you, my dahling! You finally got into it, lol!

Meanwhile, I had a bit of fun after noticing the reflections on the truck's windshield, with the blue skies and some clouds, the electrical post and some cables, plus the tree branches got caught in it.

And speaking of reflection hunts, these were from 3 weeks ago when we were about to leave my in-laws' place. I was opening the nuts trail mix when I noticed the reflections of the tree branches on the cover, so I paused and clicked, clicked, clicked!

I thought it was cool, even the sticker on the car's windshield was mirrored on the lid.

By the way, the flower (top photo) is a rose that we brought here from the Lil Kingdom from our recent visit. I was just pleased to see it is fully blooming, although I thought it was a little too early for Valentine's Day, lol! Oh well, it can't be stopped.
