Week 19, Accidents & Crypto Market
"Oh, oh oh! Wait!" That was me seeing a car run into a ditch yesterday. "What on earth are you doing?" Another voice in my head was yelling, thinking the driver was suicidal. But no, he just lost his focus when he saw us coming.

The Farmboy quickly went out and checked on them. We were relieved no one was hurt, only a dent and a broken headlight. At first, the driver explained his brakes didn't work, it turned out he was new to driving and got nervous. Understandable, but we did remind him to be extra careful. He apologized for the inconvenience, thanked us, and drove away.
Road accidents are a common concern these days. Some are due to the negligence of the drivers, others blame it on mechanical failures. No matter how careful you are, you can still get in trouble when others are reckless, with some resulting in the tragic loss of people's lives.
Just last week, a car fell into a river about half a kilometer from here. People say the driver and his companions were drunk, and they let a young man who was not accustomed to the road take the wheel. Thankfully, everyone was okay. I hope they will stay sober from now on, unless they don't value their second chance at life.🙏
Anyway, 'nuff of that before my blood starts to boil, lol!
The crypto market had a bit of a surprise yesterday when Bitcoin moved, breaking the 100k barrier once more, and now hovering above it. Some are celebrating, and others whose assets were liquidated are mourning. It's almost funny (not so) to read posts saying they are leaving the crypto space because they got rekt from margin trading. But I am quite certain they will still play afterward.
How things go from here, only those who know know.

Meanwhile, it's the weekend, and before we get sidetracked on excitements, politics, real-life plans, and stuff, let us first revisit our goals and how the numbers fared during the week.
Week 18 | Week 19 | + / - | |
---|---|---|---|
HBD Savings | 1,506 HBD | 1,541 HBD | +35 HBD |
Sats (BTC) | 158,175 sats (0.00158 BTC) | 163,964 sats (0.00163 BTC) | 5,789 sats |
Half of the amount added to the savings was the 30-day interest received 3 days ago, and the rest was mostly from content (author) rewards.
As to the sats, I did a small conversion via the v4vapp when the price was around $96k. Should have converted more, lol! But no regrets, and no rushing. We promised ourselves to enjoy the journey and the process, and we shall do that.😊
And of course, we shall continue to live a little more each day, not worrying about this or that, yeah? So here's to a glorious weekend, frens!

Thank you, I appreciate it.
Fortunately, none of you were hurt in the accident. The consequences could be worse doesn't matter who's fault it was.
Crypto market is going up and I think it's time for me to set stop loss in my crypto asset to ensure profit if market goes down again.

Yes, we are grateful no one was hurt. Congrats on your profits :)
Yeah 90% of accidents are due to people's fault and like half of those are due to dumb people 😑
That's true so I won't argue with you on that :)

Some car owners are selfish, they forget that they are not the only road users most of the time. Good thing no one was hurt and like you mentioned, we hope they take this second chance seriously, lol.
The market is always filled with surprises, just try to not take it too personal, haha.
Yes, some are irresponsible and act like they own the roads or have 9 lives, hehe! The market does what it does, and we are lucky to be living in such times to experience it or watch, lol!
Hehe, we are definitely part of the fortunate ones.
Luckily they were all given a second chance sis. Accidents can happen anytime.😬
Kaya nga sis, nakakaalarma na minsan yung madaming aksidente.

It is very sad to see that an accident has occurred, but if nothing happens to human life, we can get these things repaired again. So, Bitcoin's dominance is decreasing, which is a matter of joy. We are seeing a very good pump in altcoins.
My brother was recently involved in a head on collision. He was lucky and came away from it with minimal injuries but unfortunately the other driver did not make it 😞 as thankful as I am for my brothers safety, it breaks my heart for the other family involved!
But on another note, I have personlly not gotten into crypto too much until Hive! But now I know that the v4v app exists on the blockchain, I may have to start investing at some point! 😀
