Tuesday's 'Walk', Treat & Such
We were up early in the morning (past 7). As I opened the curtains, I noticed something interesting outside.
"Stay here, okay? I'll go out for a second," I was telling the LilGuy, and he was looking up right at me with eyes that melt the heart. It was as if he were pleading to come with me outside, especially since he had been indoors most of the time when we arrived here in BC. Yes, I do take him for a stroll, but it was me doing the walking because I carry him in my arms😁

Anyway, I couldn't resist him, so I made him wear his favorite costume to at least keep him warm from the early morning chill.
We had a little walk in the front yard, where the plant beds I laid out a few days ago had been filled with soil. They are almost ready, but I'm yet to find what to grow in them. The blocks still need to be painted, and so is the little fencing, which has not been installed (hopefully in the next few days).

Then we spent a good amount of time outside the garage, waiting for the sunlight so we could get some vitamin D. I got tired, so we went back inside before the sunlight reached us.
Made breakfast after that and played my favorite game until 10 am.😆 Realizing enough time was wasted, I went offline and changed into my work clothes. Gotta do something a little productive before midday.
The hubby arrived around lunchtime and brought us a treat. A pint of ice cream from Selecta. It's been a while since we had the cold delight, so yay! Until next, next (next) month, lol! We know it's not healthy, so we are doing our best to curb the cravings.

The rest of the afternoon was spent on the final coating job. It will be finished tomorrow, so we will probably drive to DD in the evening, and may come back here on the weekend, hopefully with evergreen plants to add some color to the garden. Until then, we gotta rest a while :)
He is a cutie!
Well one not healthy thing per month is OK... Haha I get you, when my cats watch me their eyes speak
