Thru the Rearview Mirror

Lazy Friday for us, and with the power out ^{(the transformer across the street is very sensitive, just a bit of wind and it shuts off),} there was not much to do except sleep or laze around, especially that we still have the Christmas hangover. Even the little guy enjoyed his snooze time most of the day.

But before we call it a night, let me share some reflection hunts yesterday, while we were en route to my sister's place in the other town.

My boy loves to stay by the window whenever we are on the road, and I couldn't help but take photos of him, even when the car's running. The other day wasn't an exception. While snapping some pictures, I noticed the reflections, and I just had to document them, so click... click... click... I love how the trees and such appeared on the windows. Some trucks and other vehicles were mirrored too.

I like how the blue sky and others got mirrored in this particular shot. The reflections are quite crisp and neat. It was as if they were painted on the old car's body and dusty windows.

These by the way, were seen and photographed on the rearview mirror. So it's a double reflection, if I can call it that way.

I lost track of how many times I had done this method before, but I had been sharing similar shots in the past, albeit in different locations. If I remember correctly, some were by the roadside at my in-laws' place.

But yes, I am so glad to have them as my last participation for the year in the Reflection Hunting initiative by Olgavita. I say last since we are just 5 days away to the new year, and I'm not too sure if I could hunt some more before we bod goodbye to 2025😊 But who knows if there would be interesting ones soon!
