Three Tunes from the Huntr/x [K-Pop Demon Hunters]

We are having a dreary Tuesday, but we are not allowing the weather to dampen our mood. K-pop was on the air all morning, thanks to the soundtrack of the animated musical fantasy film, K-Pop Demon Hunters. I didn't watch the movie, but came across the songs sometime ago and became interested in their fun, pop, hip-hop, and electronic themes.

I even got curious as to who the three voices were. Made a quick search and I found out they are Ejae (South Korean-American singer-songwriter and record producer), Audrey Nuna (American singer and rapper), and Rei Ami (Korean-American singer, rapper, and voice actress). They are already established musicians who were brought together for the film.

Anyway, here's my first recommendation for the Three Tune Tuesday initiative by Ablaze.

Huntr/x (Ejae, Audrey Nuna & Rei Ami) - Golden

This is the fourth track on the soundtrack album. Accordingly, most of the songs were written by Ejae. I like this for its catchy and fun composition. It performed well globally, reaching number one on the Billboard Global 200 and also topping charts in over 25 countries.

And the next tune:

Hunti/x (Ejae, Audrey Nuna & Rei Ami) - What It Sounds Like

This pop ballad features an energetic vibe, with its catchy, rich sound, pop melodies, and its darker, edgy elements. I couldn't help singing along with it, especially the hook 🎶"This is what it sounds like"🎶

And finally, the third song:

Huntri/x (Ejae, Audrey Nuna & Rei Ami) - How It's Done

I had this on a loud volume just for the heck of it, lol! The hubby switched on the mixer outside while I was on to it, that's why.

Anyway, this is the opening track in the movie, where they introduce the main characters (Rumi, Mira, and Zoey - re: the Huntr/x). The song features vibrant beats and dynamic vocals. I do like the rap verses on this track and the powerful bridge.

And with that, I end this TTT edition for the week.

The second is not available 😕

I like the third one, more energy and "aggressive" style than the first

Oh, sorry to hear that. Maybe it has country restrictions or what. Yes, the last one has a more aggressive vibe :)

My niece loves this movie and the soundtracks. She was watching it when the earthquake struck last September. Maybe this ia why the songs are stuck in my head. !BBH !PIZZA !LOLZ
