Sunrise at San Sebastian [SMARP 260]

Let me share a few snapshots by the husband on the shores of Ilocos Sur during our family trip in January. These will be my participation for the Show Me A Reflection Photo (SMARP) by Olgavita. It's been a long time since my last entry.

He and Yongi went to the shore (where the corals were) early in the day, and they enjoyed the sunrise there. The first photo he took (before 7 am) was the lead image above. Next were these.

It was great that he took some candid shots of our lil boy, too. And some vague reflections of the colorful sky got caught as well.

The final shot he took was at 7:41 am, before they returned to our cottage for breakfast.

Meanwhile, it was a hectic Monday for me. I decided to pause the waterproofing of the wall and visit the roof instead. Oh my gosh, Dad was right, it needed a facelift! And this season could be the perfect time to do it, since it's summer. A call to the hubby made us decide to repaint it. And so, the day was spent pre-brushing the galvanized sheets. It is quite ready for the Farmboy to spray them with pressurized water tomorrow to remove all the accumulated dirt and debris.

The street is just beside the house, and when vehicles pass by, the dust tends to land on our roofs. I was also horrified to find that the gutters were filled with sand, and the birds had begun to build their nests in the corners, lol!

It seems that our stay here will be spent on maintenance, but that is okay with me. I'm actually quite excited about how things would be after all the changes we have discussed in the morning.
