Sunday's Brunch
Magandang buhay!
A wet start to the new week as the rain is sticking around since it came last night. Sunny times are short-lived but still appreciated. Speaking of, we had such a morning yesterday where we enjoyed soaking in the sunshine for a little while (not really, but half an hour for the hubby was chitchatting with some politicians) at the church's parking lot after the mass.
We then headed to the hubby's favorite kitchen for a quick meal because he was famished. The church was an hour's drive away, so we skipped breakfast, thanks to waking up late, lol!
Anyway, he knew exactly what he wanted and got himself the sizzling plate, pork sisig as we call it in the country.
The spicy thing came with a cup of white rice, a staple food in the menu around here, and the main source of energy (carbs). Most can't go a day without it, unless one is on a diet, or has a tummy like mine, which can survive for days with no rice, as long as there's bread, biscuits or cookies, lol!
The minced meat had some tofu too, which the LilGuy got a taste of and liked (surprisingly). He chewed on some 3 or 4 tiny pieces of them, and that was it. He went on to his 'lazy me' position, as if he was sulking. He usually does that when he is not in the mood.
Me? I thought of pizza and a big bowl of hot ramen. Too much, huh? Well, it's good for hangover, lol!

Not that I got drunk the night before. The hot soup is kinda comforting. And well, the pizza ended up in a box for takeaway. It made a good snack after we crossed the border to the other region (province), where we drove for a little unplanned adventure, which I may write about on another day.

Parang ang Sarap Ng pork sisig. Minsan nakaka temp talaga kumain Ng maraming rice lalo pag masarap ang ulam😬. Hehehe
Masarap ata kasi inubos ni hubby, hehe. And oo sis, hindi maiwasan talaga yung rice, lalo pag karne ang kapares, hehe.
