Something Sweet Under the Deck

It was past 4 in the afternoon, and we were almost done exploring the eco park. My niblings said they were starving, and so was my sister. I just wanted to rest my weary feet. The Farmboy? He was all game with whatever we decided to do.
We first checked Marahuyo Café. The kids didn't find anything they liked. There isn't much of a choice. At that time, they only had "Pinangat na Tilapia." We did not know how it was prepared, so maybe next time!

So we walked up to the next, called Alapaap Dining.

It felt promising. And it is worth mentioning that the glass walkway (view deck) is just above it, and we took the table right where we could look up at it.

I liked the simplistic interior of the diner. Inside is quite spacious, and it even has tables on the outside.

And let's check the menu - a bundle of white paper, printed with the names of dishes, drinks, and desserts. And except for the logo, there were no pictures or colors on it. There's nothing wrong, of course! We like simple things!

No one wanted to eat something heavy. It was still early, and since we would be on the road soon after, we thought we'd have dinner somewhere else around 6 or 7 in the evening.
My nephew picked something from the Desserts page - Ulap ng Camisong. I was eyeing the same, or should I go with Turones De Leche? I had some second thoughts. But the ice cream and chocolate sounded more appetizing, so let's go for it!

Guess what? Everyone wanted the same. All chocolate. Not one opted for the espresso. We are a pack after all, lol!
Anyhow, I was late taking a photo of my plate before the server poured the hot chocolate over the Cotton Candy, but this was what it looked like after. The cotton candy melted or somewhat disappeared, leaving just bits of traces on the sides, like they were foams or something.

It was so tasty that one would not wonder why I emptied my plate, lol!

Well, it wasn't just me but my four companions. They also liked their share of the sweet delights! Or maybe we love each other's company so much that we didn't care about what we were having?
Joke aside, we savored it to our heart's content and appreciated our moments together. We were glad that once upon a time, we were there and created memories together. So we took a bit more time to relax under the deck while some people were on it, enjoying their own moments too.

The glass walkway isn't for someone like me, lol. I fear heights🤭. I'm happy you guys made your day and the sweetest part of it all is the chocolate eating time.
The Alapaap Dining is very beautiful and that glass walkway is cool. I love chocolate a lot and anything chocolate goes for me. It’s good you loved what you asked for
