Something Spontaneous
Magandang buhay!
The hubby suggested we go to the town center to mass, and then check out the new food place with a certain dish that he wanted to try. However, his cousin called before we left the house. He was asking for help, and we couldn't say no, hence our plan got cancelled impromptu.
And so Sunday was another lazy day for us (Yongi and I, that is).

Not that we spent most of it idly. I did some needlework (a temporary dust cover for our air fryer). It's funny how a small piece of mesh fabric took me hours to finish. I had to pause the job because my eyes hurt, and I was very hungry.
The Farmboy came back just before midday and decided to trim the tree branches on the side of the driveway. After that, he also rearranged and flipped the bags of cement we purchased a few months ago, thinking they might have hardened already. Thankfully, they didn't, since they were carefully wrapped in plastic to avoid moisture. It started to drizzle when he was finishing up, and a downpour followed soon after. It's still raining now (past 9 pm).
Anyway, while we were relaxing, he suddenly said he thought my eyebrows were getting thicker and needed to be thinned out. He asked for a puller, made me lie face up using his thighs as my pillow, and then he started pulling one hair after another. His gesture reminded me it had been a while since he had done that.
When we were in the Lil Kingdom, he would trim my nails, but never did my eyebrows. It felt nice, of course! And it made me wonder how many husbands do similar things to their spouses. But yes, such lil pampering warms the heart and is usually deeply appreciated beyond words.
We spent the rest of the afternoon watching K-drama (Brewing Love). While none of the day's plans went as planned, spontaneous things transpired, and I love it!

I really enjoyed reading this. Sometimes the unplanned days turn out to be the most special ones. The little moments you shared, like doing chores together and watching K-drama, show the real warmth of your relationship. Very sweet and heartwarming.
Thank you. Most unplanned days turn out to be fun :)

I also feel that lazy days with little pampering and K-drama are the best thing to do. I have only seen a few husbands who are this much caring and I hope the number increases. 😁
That's good to know. Do share if you have watched something nice😉
It would be awesome if the numbers increase
Recently I have watched "Heavenly Ever After" it's a beautiful drama about after life and also has comedy, you will love it.
