Saturday in DD

Hola, weekend💗

The sky is still grey, but at least the rain is subsiding after it persisted through the night. It stops for a while, giving some time for the earth to breathe before it pours again. From what I read, some dam gates in various places had to be opened to release water, or they would overflow.

So far, everything is okay around us, except for a small area of soil erosion near the drainage system. Our running water was gone too, but was restored soon after the hubby went to check. It turned out that a pipe connection got loose, so a simple pull to reconnect and tighten it back was the quick solution. No sweat, lol!

Meanwhile, this was our comfort food for lunch. A steaming bowl of Japanese ramen noodles with soup and veggies - one for him and another for me. We are skipping rice today. Perfect for the weather.

I was famished after spending a few hours on online shops trying to find a suitable replacement for our dehumidifier. With the wet season upon us, it's very much needed in the house, or molds would invade the spaces and things. Unfortunately, I got tired before checking out anything. Weirdly, shopping bores me to death😂

Anyway, it's Saturday and the weekly drill continues. So for week 29 in the SSC calendar, here's how my two targets fared so far:

23 HBD has been added to my on-chain Savings (from 1732 previously to 1755 today). Not so bad, huh? Nothing changed on my Sats, however. Buying is paused, so still 187.5k sats to date.

And to add, my Hive Power is increasing slowly, mostly from curation and content rewards.

For the first time in a long while, I noticed my voting mana has reached 100% during the recent trip, which is odd since I was following five curation trails (community accounts), and I have 14 creators on my fanbase list too. While I try to curate manually, I still set these up so that my VP won't stay idle when I'm away or asleep. Maybe they were in vacation mode too, that's why my mana refilled to its fullest, lol!

No worries though, I used some 10% of it soon as I was in front of my pc. Perhaps I should burn my voting power to 60-70% before I go away, especially since I'm not particularly fond of Hiving on mobile

Yeah, I would do that next time😁 Until then, cheers to a fantastic weekend!

What?? You manually check and attach tubes for running water? Don't you have underground metal tubes connected to home walls? 😲

Yep. Unlike in the city, the pipes or tubes outside our house (and everyone's homes) are not underground (for easy access in case of repairs). Also, the same water line is used in the farms.

Noodles with soup is best for this weather ☁️

It's really odd that although you follow the curation trail and fan base creator too still your mana is 100. I also follow only two trails of ocd and appreciator but my mana reaches to 70 easily as I also curate manually too

Indeed. It warms not only the stomach, but the heart :)

Yes, I was surprised to see it at 100% when we arrived home yesterday afternoon.

I also get bored with online shopping, I think it's because I will have to check different shops, check specs and read reviews, so it's usually tiring 😔

!HOPE that you are aware of automated voting Hive dapps (such as #HiveVote) in case you !INDEED find it hard to keep your Voting Mana below 100%! 🤗😏

Perhaps it's the many options and variety that comes with online shopping is what makes it easily tiring. It's hard to pick one without first making a broad comparison going from one shop to another :)

That's very true. And the need to find a trusted seller with quality items.

Ramen means noodles? right? or there are any difference? I heard about it a lot of time in the dramas.

Yes :) The ramen we had was preserved fresh, not the dry kind. It tastes better than the instant ones.

What a relief that everything was resolved without major damage (and with a simple tube squeeze! haha). That ramen looks like a warm hug for the soul.✨ Happy weekend!
