Routines & Such

We were out to the other town yesterday for our weekly groceries and some other errands. I was just glad the weather was better (it wasn't that cold), allowing us to go out lighter (no thick jackets and such), and even enjoy a cold treat (halo halo) at lunchtime.
While the weekly drive is a routine, we always appreciate it and take it as a good break from our daily life here in DD. Plus, I get to visit my sister at work and have a bit of a chat while playing with her fur baby, who loves to give me lots and lots of kisses to the point she wouldn't want me leave.
The hubby and I always make time for a meal, too. Although the dishes are not extraordinary, they are part of the memories we create, the conversations and/or laughter we have, the plans we come up, and so on.
And of course, our little boy must have his moments, too :) He lights up when we are out. He enjoys looking around and touching grass, so we always try to give him that.

Although he gets tired easily and usually spends the next day sleeping, as if his energy was totally drained. Then, he would be hyperactive again.
Anyway, an early morning call from my nephew prompts a visit to the Lil Kingdom today for something important. And that means we will be on the road very soon, but before that, a little update on my Slothly Savings. It's Thursday after all!

Still slow. If we continue at this rate, our year-end target may not be achieved, considering we are in the final week of January. There is a need to add at least 45 HIVE and 16 HBD each month so we can catch up. The question now would be, can we do it?

Togetherness creates lasting memories, your sister will always be expecting you to come around, and I think I should congratulate you for fair weather because it's not always like that you were able to have fun yesterday.

Being able to enjoy time with family and pets is what it is all about.
That's true :) In a world where busyness can take our time away from bonding with our loved ones, these little moments we share matter a lot.
I also like to eat out, it's part of doing something different, enjoy some pleasures... The cake on the picture looks great

I've also had moments where the experience the food brings was put more into priority that how the food taste like, provided if the latter is okay-ish :)
