Quick Snaps [Baguio Cathedral]

Saturday came quickly for us, whew! And for the first time in weeks, the rain didn't come which is nice. I hope it will be the same today as we can already see the sun peeking through the mountains this early. The hamper will be emptied if the weather continues to clear up.

Anyhow, let me share a few captures at the Baguio Cathedral. The hubby went to buy some stuff at the Korean mart while our Yongi and I did a wee photoshoot although he moved a lot I couldn't even take a decent picture of him, lol!

This was an installation in 2017 where the Diocese commemorated the works of missionaries (CICM) in nurturing the faith of the local people decades ago. The mural was carved by Baguio's artist, Clinton Pagao Aniversario.

A partial view of the church facade quickly snapped as we climbed the stairs. Accordingly, the church's construction started in 1920 and was completed in 1936. It served as an evacuation center for the people during the carpet-bombing of the American forces in WWII and was the only building that was left standing after the war.

Anyway, we went straight to the car from there as the little guy was whimpering indicating the need to pee which he did the moment he saw the tray in the back seat. He had been holding it for who knows how long, lol!

There I noticed some reflected images on the SUV next to ours and of course, click... click... click.

Yongi sure knows how to enjoy his moments. He loves getting his head out the window to look around.

These two, on the other hand, were taken when we just parked. The sky and all other things, even a glimpse of the Cathedral's main facade were mirrored on the vehicle's windows and rearview mirrors.

While these photos are not on par with Sergio's and other people's professional captures, I decided to share them anyway. Perhaps one day, my photography will improve too :)

Thank you for coming along and have a wonderful weekend!

For the past few days, it has been rainy in Cebu too. I hope you can tour around today without the rain. Happy weekend, @ifarmgirl 😊

You really got the photos at awesome perspectives.
I love the photo quality and the cars are just looking exotic, though I didn't get the full look.
