Playtime Shadows

Sunday up here was mostly spent indoors, napping from mid-morning to midday. It's crazy but it feels like I'm not getting enough sleep these days even when I go to bed usually before 10 at night. So yeah, I left everything (even those undone) and crawled under the sheets because I can't accomplish anything when my head feels light and my eyes are heavy.

I'm just thankful that when I do that my little boy crawls in too so I wouldn't have to worry about waking up from my nap and checking on him.

Anyway, we had a bit of fun with shadows in the afternoon, not outside but in my tiny home office. I was coming from the kitchen when I found the little guy with his water dispenser knocked down. He does that when nobody is around and he wants to drink. Of course, he cannot get any water because the lid is closed.


So I went closer and opened the dispenser for him to drink. He sipped for a few seconds and his attention shifted to the holder. Before making him stop chewing it, I took a photo of his attempt first, lol! I thought the shadows were pretty cool to miss.


We took more photos, adding his toy to the equation. He just watched but then a few minutes later, he went on to grab his ball. I borrowed and placed it on the holder only for him to take it sooner and wouldn't let go, haha!

Well, at least I got some wee shadows of him and his stuff.


These were his (shadow) photos from our playtime a few days ago. He loves to play fetch so he is most attentive when it comes to his ball. He moves a lot so it's challenging to get a decent shot.


He was standing on his two feet trying to take the ball from me. I like it when he growls whenever he fails.😅


And let me end it with that shot when he got tired and took a break looking up at me. That's also his position whenever he was prepping to jump. I eventually gave him his ball and he ran around happily.

There goes the playtime shadows of my wee furball for my participation in Round 318 of the Shadow Hunters challenge by Melinda.
