Oops I Lost It! [& Week 8 on SSC]
Thursday started slow and cold, but as the day progressed, the sun showed up, spreading cheer and warmth here in the mountains, so yay! We hadn't done much most of the day, as we had to wait for the hubby to bring the water tanks. He arrived around 2 pm, as he had to queue up at the refilling station to have them filled. Alas! We now have running water in the house. Happy me, lol!
And in my delight, I went out to clean the yard. Grass has grown in some spaces, and it was time to clear them. I planned on reviving a thriving garden and hope my lazy hormones won't get in the way.😅
Anyway, while dusting off my clothes before entering the house, I felt my wedding band going loose from my finger, and bam, it was gone. Frantic, I started looking for it everywhere. It had gone dark, and I haven't found it. One of my brother's boys passed by, so I mentioned it, saying that my wedding ring flew away a little while ago. So if they ever see a ring around here one day, it might be mine. "Okay, Ate," he said and went on his way out of the compound.
The husband noticed and asked what it was. Naturally, I told him I lost my ring. "We will find it later," he just said kind of nonchalantly. So I went into the house, straight to the shower. When I got out of the bathroom, I saw my ring on the table. Oh la la! Thank you dahling! And I thought his eyesight was poorer than mine, lol! But yes, I was really glad he found it, or I might not be able to sleep well tonight.

A good increase in HIVE during the week, and a small amount of HBD was added. However, I decided to change my main goal to 1,000 HIVE, since we are no longer receiving HBD. If ever the HBD payout comes back, then I will continue where I left off. If not, then I still have something to work toward—to have at least a thousand liquid HIVE at the end of the year.
So that's about it for today, and we are hitting the sack early :)
SO glad you were able to find your wedding band. I lost my first weeding band and never found it. My second one had to be cut off when my finger swelled up. Haven't had good luck with them at all over the years.
