On the Fields

(Edited)

One of the things I love about the lowlands is the vast, stretchy rice fields. They always take my breath away, and I couldn't stop myself from being loud, saying, "Wow! Wow! Wow!" many times over. That was the case the moment we were getting out of the resort's gate. My eyes were automatically drawn to the beautiful green landscape beyond the street.

I can't explain, but there is something about the open fields that makes my heart skip a beat. It's even more breathtaking when there's water in them. Lucky me to have snapped this display of nature's magic before the husband sped away. The curvy hills, the sky, and the clouds, tiny plants even! This particular scene reminded me of Lake Tabeyo. The reflections had a striking resemblance.

And I got one more shot before it totally disappeared from my view. Sometimes, the hubby slows down, allowing me to take photos, but during that particular trip, he seemed to be chasing someone or something.

Oh, I got two more, albeit they look weird, lol! But at least some reflections on the water are still seen.

The rows of rice plants couldn't escape my eyes, and I just had to photograph them.

Meanwhile, these reflections were from the provincial capital of Nueva Viscaya. We had been on the road for a little over two hours and were still passing through paddy fields.

At 10 am, we also saw some farmers in the field. Got them on photos, even their reflections, lol!

The truth is, my phone is filled with hundreds (nearly a thousand) photos of the fields, so there will be more reflection shares on some other days.😅

Anyhow, it's the new week, and we had a bright Monday here in DD. No rain, no wind. Just blue skies and plentiful sunshine. I'm extra happy, of course! Yongi, too, for he had a chance to enjoy the warmth of the morning sun and get his dose of Vitamin D.

As expected, instead of lying low and resting, I was onto my DIY. These little works are not stopping anytime soon. I love the challenge of creating or making something. In addition, they keep me active and not always lazing around, making my butt fat, lol!

A fantastic week, frens!

Now that's what I call a natural reflection, it's just so beautiful. It's almost like the sky is even in the water 😂

I love how you mentioned catching the reflections on the water, that’s honestly one of the most beautiful sights in nature. And it’s so relatable that your phone is filled with photos of fields; once you start taking them, you can’t stop, becomes a super addiction hashaha

That's true. We wouldn't care if the photos are blurry or what, we just snap and snap and snap, haha!

Such an open field reminding me about my village where I used to see such a scenario. Seeing this I just want to go to village for a while.

When the clouds are over, the view is much more beautiful and different from the rest of the day, and the cool breeze that blows is much more soothing to us.
