More Than Enough
During our trip to the city some time ago, we stopped by one of the restaurants for dinner. While the Farmboy checked the menu, the LilGuy and I went outside for a wee stroll. On returning inside, we took the other door, by the extension. There, I noticed this wooden frame hanging on the wall. It was interesting, so phone out, a tap on the camera icon, and click... click... click. I had six shots of it. Here's one, slightly edited for more vividness.

At first sight, I thought love had the largest measurement among all the ingredients, because it says 4 cups. A closer look revealed that it wasn't. Hope has 5, but in spoons, so it's smaller too. Then there it is! Laughter. It's a barrel. This made me ponder how much of it we have in our day-to-day lives.
Enough, I guess.
A day doesn't pass by without us giggling about something. The LilGuy became the number one initiator through his little antics. Just the sound of him whimpering makes us (especially me) laugh out loud.
One time, a neighbor got curious, he asked my husband if we had adopted a child, because he heard me talking and laughing as if I was having fun with a little kid. The Farmboy said we didn't. "Oh, so she was conversing with your dog?" he was surprised. Yes, I talk and laugh with my Yongi, even when other people are around (listening). My inhibitions tend to fly away when it comes to my lil fur ball. Good change, I say.
When the hubby watches a funny reel or short clip, he replays it to me, then we both burst into laughter. He farts (or I do) and we laugh. Yongi poops, we laugh (he has an amusing ritual before pooping, and it makes us LOL every time). Someone chokes, we laugh. Teasing each other is a normal part of our day. Even when we are apart, there's always something laughable when we talk on the phone. Thanks to growing older (together), we both appreciate and find humor in the little things in life.
So yes, we laugh abundantly. And with the other ingredients also present, we have a generally happy home, and I am truly grateful.

Thank God for giving you a happy home, including Yongi who always make you laugh, only watching LilGuy hear also makes me laugh
Thank G indeed. We try to see the lighter side of things. I'm glad Yongi makes you laugh too :)

If only we can mix it and drink all at once. Hehe. 😁
Oo nga noh, hehe. I think as we grow older, we appreciate the little things more.
Those are some simple lines but if we think deeply we can understand the true meaning of those.

I actually love that Home recipe, and it makes sense. And a barrel of laugher? I'm sure a home with like that has more love din.
Yes. I think we all like to have loads of laughter daily :)
