Monday Drive, Rain & Such

Why the trip? The hubby convinced us to join him for dual purpose—deliver stuff to a buyer, and since we missed the city's Flower Festival (Panagbenga), which ran the whole month of February and culminated yesterday, he thought we would check the next event in the region—the Strawberry Festival, which just started this week. It had been two years since we last enjoyed it (Yongi was seven months old then).

So yeah, we would be here until tomorrow for the fun of it. But my main aim really, is to hunt for ornamental plants and flowers for the garden, fervently hoping we would find some good bargains, lol!😅

Meanwhile, our little boy was exhausted from the 3-hour drive. He wouldn't eat when we stopped by the restaurant for lunch. He was mostly quiet and snoozy.

I intentionally ordered the dish with veggies, thinking he'd be hungry and would eat at least some of them, but nah, he just took a sniff and looked up at me with a questioning face😅 We usually don't force him if he doesn't like something, especially when it comes to food.

I did give him a piece of his favorite treat (Dentastix), which he happily chewed until it was all finished.😆

Anyhow, I'm quite excited for the rest of the day's adventure and of tomorrow's. Here's to a wonderful week ahead, frens!
