Mirrored Skies

We drove to my parent's place yesterday afternoon to pick up some stuff. Although a bit breezy, the weather was nice, making the day warm and bright. We spent about 2 hours there as I needed to check on things and also tidy up their kitchen as it had been left unattended since Mom was rushed to the hospital early morning Tuesday. The old man hadn't gone home since. Their things were a mess, lol!

Anyway, we were about to leave when I noticed the cool reflections of the sky and clouds on my brother's parked car. I just had to take pictures of them.


"Hold on a sec," I said requesting the hubby to wait as I quickly took my phone out of my purse and snapped some photos of the mirrored images. I spent just a little over one and a half minutes capturing these.

Yep, blue skies and some patches of clouds were seen. Gorgeous weather I say. Forgive me for my bad photography though, as you know, I merely point and shoot, lol! No thinking about angle, lighting or so. I've been saying to learn to do things better but alas! Nothing has been done about it.😊


I particularly like the ones on the shiny (metallic) back of the rearview mirror, hence a few more shots. It's like a little panorama of the surroundings and the sky.


My last capture for the day was a vague image of some trees and the clouds on the dusty glass at the back of the car.


Meanwhile, it's a tranquil Sunday morning here at DD and it seems Mister Sunshine is not visiting as the sky is rather gloomy. But the weather can be very unpredictable so we expect a better outlook for the day (like yesterday when it was drizzly in the morning and cleared up around lunchtime).

We are planning to head to the farmer's market in the heart of town to shop for veggies but we are quite drained so it would be a lazy day for us. No driving out and perhaps just a walk along the road in the afternoon. It could be a great time to catch up with things missed or a full rest to recharge (mentally and physically).

And so I wish us all a lovely and restful day :)

If you mean the whole pic of the car, I didn't take a photo of it but it's a Toyota Fortuner

What happened to your mom? I hope she is okay. The weather is quite confusing here in PH, in the day time it is sunny and rainy in the noon time.

I don't believe it. I feel that you keep your mobile in your hand and keep your mobile camera open all the time. You just keep clicking all the photographs.🤣🤣. Just kidding but It's not impossible also🤣.!LOL
