Might Wait A Lil Longer... [Keeping On]
Last week, I was ecstatic to find that one of the pumpkin plants crawling in the yard had begun to bear fruit. Naturally, I documented the little thing by taking its picture, looking forward to monitoring it until its maturity, as it was our first time growing it.

However, I was dismayed to discover a few days ago that it was no longer there. Not a sign of it anywhere. Perhaps the neighbor's dogs stepped on it, and it fell somewhere? Maybe not.
A rat must have made it its dinner. Darn! That was the first fruit, and there are no other flowers yet, so we might have to wait a bit longer for the little buds to develop and produce new ones.
Hmmm... me thinking... we should build a fence or something, to protect them from the intruders.🤔 Let me ponder that later, for we are heading to the other town to visit the fam.
Dad is back in the doctor's care, just a day after his release. He was in two emergency rooms within 12 hours. They were on the way to the city when he cried out in pain. Some tests (x-ray, ultrasound, etc) were done again, but the results in both institutions are conflicting. Crazy, huh?
But before driving away, let us take a quick peek at our weekly numbers (post to go out at the designated time):
HBD Savings
- Current Balance: 1,661 HBD
- Previous Week: 1,645 HBD
- Increase (Week 24): +16 HBD
Sats
- Current Balance: 178,992 sats
- Previous Week: 177,103 sats
- Increase (Week 24): +1889 sats
The growth in both numbers is not life-changing or significant, but I'm still happy. It's good enough for me to see them growing week by week. We shall therefore take pride and pleasure in adding to them slowly over the next six months, for our hearts are still set on the end goal for the year.
Keeping on...💪
And cheers to a lovely weekend!

You could put a garden netting on it
Yea, you will never find 2 doctors saying the same thing...
That's a great idea, thanks.
And true what you said, that's probably why we need to seek a second, third, or even 4th opinion.
Sorry to hear about your dad - hopefully they will figure our the issue very soon.
The female pumpkin flower was probably not pollinated fast enough. If you did not see a wilted flower though then it probably was eaten by a predator. I hope soon you will have other flowers - you could also try to hand pollinate.
All the best with your saving endeavours.
Thank you, and we are hoping for the same thing. It's hard when he is in pain and we don't know what's causing it.
I didn't know we could do this. I'll have to make a quick research on how to do it properly. Thank you again :)
Thank you lots !LADY💗
