Loud Thursday

Loud Thursday in our little place, with the concrete mixer buzzing all morning, the boys laughing, gravel and sand rattling against the buckets and shovels.

Add Yongi to the equation. He was agitated. He kept barking and pacing here and there. Even his treat couldn't make him stay quiet long enough, but as my father-in-law once said (when the LilGuy barked at him during a visit), it's part of a dog's life to howl, growl, or bark whenever they feel like it. Today, Yongi did it because he was stressed from the loud noise.

My poor boy finally stopped when he became too exhausted and remained mostly quiet, napping and playing with his ball, while the boys were jamming outside after we had lunch and enjoyed the booze and their chismis until late afternoon when it rained. When most of them left, I went outside and took these photos. The cementing work is still unfinished.

Meanwhile, I had been a busy bee in the kitchen. The hubby made breakfast, and it was my turn for lunch, including merienda (snacks). And as usual on days like this (when we ask for help from my brother's boys), I do lots of dishes, large pots, pans, and such. It's okay by me, because I don't do them every day, and just like my DIYs, this is how I stay physically active and productive (if that can be called so).

We spent the rest of the evening clearing the table outside, and then it was dinnertime. We didn't have to cook anew since there were leftovers, so we just heated them and ate soon after.

While drafting this, my boy squeezed himself in the tiny space between the couch and made my slippers his chin support while waiting for me. He's gotten a lot more clingy these days.

He wouldn't go to bed until I did. So I guess it's time for me to end this here.

Thank you life for today. Until tomorrow.😊

Yep our furry friends suffer from kids making noises, chaos and do on... My cats the same, no bark but you can see them stressed

It was interesting reading your busy day schedule. Something that striked me was about the little boy with his chin in your slippers. Because I have a cat here, who does the same.

Lil Guy was indeed tired and he lost energy in barking. But I must say he still looks adorable while sleeping.
