Lazying, Learning & Getting FOMO'd While Mirasol Lingered
Magandang buhay!
A dreary midweek for us here. It's been so since last night. It turned out that a weather disturbance (Topical Depression Mirasol) had entered the country, causing moderate to heavy rains in most places. Aside from that, there's also an LPA affecting Northern Luzon. Because of that, the day's errands had been cancelled (postponed), for they couldn't be done in the wet weather.
In a way, I was thankful because the hubby had time to continue my DIY project in the kitchen. I wanted to help, but he wouldn't let me. Besides, we tend to have different methods of doing things (he takes the very long cut, while I tend to find ways to do them in the least amount of time, yet still end up with the same finish and quality).
And so, the LilGuy and I spent the day as the king and queen of laziness.🤣 I'm not particularly proud about it, but I don't wish to lie either, so yeah, that's sort of a confession, lol!
Although I gathered enough momentum in the afternoon, where I spent time listening to tips and tricks of things I'm interested in. I didn't really want to stay completely idle, because, like the physical body, the brain needs exercise. The day you stop learning is the day you die, Albert Einstein said. We don't want that. We prefer to grow healthily (mind and body).
Anyway, I was also FOMO'd by how fast SURGE (LeoStrategy's perpetual token on Hive Engine) was selling, so I brought in a little bit of outside funds to buy some of it. Swapped some HE tokens for it too. I heard it will be listed on Base soon (they are building the bridge, per Khal). I didn't want to miss the opportunity, like I did with LSTR (I only bought 26 of it just before the presale was over).
I'd be happy if it would give me 5x, lol! If not, at least it will help increase the value of $LEO, which is still a win since I also have about 30k of it (some staked and delegated, others liquid). It's too early to say, so we will wait and see how things go. But yeah, I'm quite excited😉

Great job on not getting completely idle during a wet weather, many would succumb to the laziness and call it a day :)
I also prefer to take the long and thorough route for the most part when it comes to doing DIY work. I'm in no rush to do such kind of work.
It's so easy to be lazy, so I have to give myself a kick in the arse to do something worthwhile at least.
