Lazying in the Weekend

Hola!

The sky was a bit gloomy early on (and it rained, too), so we had a lazy Saturday. And with the power out, we really couldn't do much, so we tried to catch up on sleep instead. The LilGuy had a rough night, and it felt like we had a baby in the house.

He kept jumping into and out of bed around midnight and making wee cries. And for the first time, the hubby complained, lol! I must admit that even after nearly two years with the little guy, we are still learning (and we love it). Thankfully, nothing is serious. He was just having a mood.


Around late afternoon, we received an invitation to a birthday celebration at a cousin's place, which we had to decline because it was raining and cold (my araytis might complain lol)! The hubby didn't wish to go alone.

So yeah, apart from a quick visit here and there, we did nothing productive at all. But we are glad we allowed ourselves to be lazy, especially when the body (and soul) called for it.

Meanwhile, checking the Hive-Engine market, LEO's price has dropped below 1 HIVE, and not much in the order book. Dang, I should have traded some more of the liquid in my alt when it was at 1.13 haha! Sounds like I'm feeling FUD, eh! Patience, self. Patience.

Anyway, that reminded me it's the weekend and time for our SSC update. Although the club is having a short break this month, I wanted to track my numbers for personal recording purposes.

HBD Savings hit the 2k mark (2,005 in the vault). 151 was added (my sell order for 500 LEO at 1.1499 got filled on the 12th). The Sats balance (I wouldn't call it a stack, it's still small) remained the same as last week (200,122). The account Hive Power is now 27,570 (96 added in the week). With 4k+ delegated, my effective voting power is 22.8k HP.


All good. With just over four months in the year, it will be interesting to see how these numbers change. It would be cool to keep them growing.

That's pretty much how the day went for us. Uneventful, laidback, guilt-free. Just being us, shutting the door, silencing the noise, and heeding our body's call. We would do it again :)

It rained heavily here this morning. I had to stop working because of the rain. If I'm lazy, I can't concentrate on writing. I'm worried that if I can't write and post, I won't be able to achieve my goal.

Well sometimes doing nothing and just being with family is exactly what the weekend needs. It's the right thing to balance life that way
