Jessica Sanchez Duets
I was playing random tunes yesterday when the Ordinary performance by Jessica Sanchez got me saying, "Wow, that's quite powerful," and then checking more about her. It turned out she was the winner of the 2025 season of America's Got Talent. And that twenty years ago, she was amongst the contestants on the very first season of the talent show. She reached the semi-finals after getting picked as the show's wild card, but she got eliminated.
Despite that, she came back 2 decades later, strong and ready, getting Sofia's golden buzzer during the audition and fighting her way to the finish line while being pregnant with her first baby. She gave birth a few weeks after the finals. How cool is that!
She also auditioned for American Idol in 2011 and finished as a runner-up in the grand finals.
Well, she has proven that when you truly want something and have that burning desire, as they put it, you do everything to get it.
Anyway, I enjoyed some of her previous songs, especially her collaborations with other artists. Let's get on with them.
Jessica Sanchez & Leroy Sanchez - A Whole New World
Released in 2019, I think this version of theirs of the Disney classic is quite good. This was not their first collab, as they did one in 2016with Beyonce's 1+1. But yeah, I love this more, so it's what I'm sharing today.
Another was a duet with Ne-Yo in 2013, when Jessica released her debut studio album.
Jessica Sanchez & Ne-Yo - Tonight
This R&B collab debuted at number 48 on the Digital Songs chart and reached number 42 on the ARIA Top 100 Singles Chart down under. A minor success, but better than not making it in the charts at all.
And the third tune was one I enjoyed the most, probably because of the Spanish lyrics (I think Spanish and Italian are sexy languages).
Jessica Sanchez & Prince Royce - No One Compares (Spanglish)
Love the blend of their vocals (Prince's smooth voice and Jessica's powerful vocals), the Latin influences, and the heartfelt melodic harmonies. At first, I thought her voice had a touch of J.Lo's, hehe!

Didn't hear any of those song but I think I enjoyed the 3rd one more than others. It's super cool in my opinion.
