Hump Day, Whew!

Magandang buhay!

Super busy.

The driveway is finally getting a facelift tomorrow (no more muddy tires, yay), so the hubby managed the preparations while I was on my kitchen project, which is just halfway done. So much to do but so little time?

Nope.

We are taking it at our own pace and enjoying the process. I recently realized that I love doing things with my own hands and putting effort into them. Although I must admit that earlier in the day, I nearly called for a plumber because I couldn't fix the connectors of the faucet with its pull-out spout. I had difficulty with the hot and cold lines. Even the hubby surrendered on it yesterday afternoon.

However, I was determined to try it my way, so that was what I did today.

After a few failed attempts and almost flooding the kitchen floor, I decided to take a break from it and bathe my LilGuy instead. It's been 12 days since his surgery, and I've only been using the waterless shampoo on him. When I asked if he wanted to take a bath, he jumped and jumped like a happy kid. Okay! It's a go then!

So yep, I bathed and groomed him (including nail trim, which he dislikes, lol!).

After making him sit on the couch, I went back to fixing the connectors and lines. After tightening things, I then switched the water source, and voila, everything was working! It sounds funny, even crazy (or bullshit), that a little break was all I needed to get it working, lol! Perhaps I was anxious without even realizing it. But yes, there was no need for a plumber.

It was just the finishing touches after that (i.e., applying sealant, putting Teflon, and such).

When the hubby found out I had it figured out, he gave me a kiss on the forehead. He must be very proud, because I am, haha!

It’s great to see how determined you are with your home projects. Fixing plumbing by yourself is not easy, but you did it! I love how you take things at your own pace and still find joy in every moment.

From the next time being a plumber. If people start fixing things like you, the plumber will die for hungers. Why you are trying to make their life difficult 😂😂?? !LOL

Oh yeah so cool of you to fix the faucet yourself. I tend to be like that as well. Even without enough skills about fixing things, I more often think I can do it. And I think having that kind of mindset has a way as it manifests to reality, haha. It just surprises me at times as well. Makes me so proud of myself too. Just like the way you're feeling when you fixed the faucet. The plumbers skills didn't have the chance to get a penny from you, lol!
