Hello, May (A Quick Look Back)

April left rather quickly. And it went leaving many things behind - memories, mixed emotions, and such. But life goes on despite all that has happened. The new month is here, and we welcome it with an open mind and heart, with much faith that it will treat us better.

So, Hello May!


It's Labor Day. People in the 9-5 lifestyle are mostly off duty and some are having a long weekend for they would extend their holidays tomorrow, plus Saturday and Sunday, so Yay for them.

As for us, we were to have our lazy day in DD, but we had guests. The Farmboy's cousins arrived early in the morning that we have to set aside our plans for the day. Thankfully, they took off after lunch, so here I am, Hiving :)

Speaking of Hive, it's the first of the month and like we always do, we honor one of the traditions on chain - HPUD. I was checking my Hivebuzz board and was chuffed that I have not missed any Hive Power Up Day since January 2022. So Yay! I'm giving myself a gentle pat on the back. Well done. Well done😉

That made me take a look at how things were in May of every year since:

On May 1st 2022, my account had 2,129 Hive Power (HP). The following year (May 1, 2023), it was 10,100 HP (increased by 7,971 HP). On the 1st of May 2024, it has grown to 19,103 HP (an increase of 9,003 HP). And today, it stands at 25,360 HP (added 6,257 HP). It's just nice to see how it grew over the last few years, and that was only possible because of everyone's support. So thank you, thank you, thank you💗 My gratitude is boundless!

Yeah, May's HPUD was done, although I just added a small amount.


And then the raindrops started. It seems we are truly having a laid-back afternoon. I like that (of course), especially since my body is sore from yesterday's treatment, so I just want to curl up in bed (or on the couch). But not yet. Some responsibilities are calling, and I need to check them off first!

So I'll be popping now and then, while I can.
