Hola, frens! Magandang buhay :)

It's a bright and sunny Monday on our side of the universe - my kind of weather. It's warming to the body and soul. I'm finally home in DD to recharge.

Anyway, last time I wrote about our visit to Pikaw Resort where we had fun checking out some of its structures and amusing sculptures. Today, let me share some pictures taken a bit differently from our usual point-and-shoot mode.

After having coffee in the hotel's restaurant, my cousin and her in-laws left. The husband and I stayed for a while to explore the place further and that was when we goofed around taking photographs of things.

In the shot below, the huge panda koala (or is it bear?) sculpture in the garden looks rather small.


But here's its actual size.


Still in the garden and walking farther away from the hotel building, these photos were captured. Let's say we were practicing to improve our photography using just our smartphone cameras :)


Meanwhile, Santa and his deer companion looked like mini-figurines in this photo.


When they are life-sized in reality.

"Santa in September?" someone asked before. Yep! Our country welcomes Christmas as soon as the 'ber months arrive. Some start decorating and the resort did just that. Maybe they were still arranging their playlist so we didn't hear any holiday tunes when we were there.


The tall agave flower stalk looked imposing against the grey sky. This reminded me of our childhood experience when we decorated one with soap foam trying to make it look like snow, lol!

And lastly, a view of the driveway from the hotel's mini-garden.

You made the best of a bright and happy monday morning by taking dazzlingly beautiful pictures. Those of the sculptures, especially Santa and his little fellows were well taken. It's good the new week it off to a good start for you and may it continue that way. Thanks for writing.

I think you don't miss any angles of capturing pictures. That's good. At least we can see different kinds of beautiful pictures because of you.

Haha yeah. The season is fast approaching!

And no, haven't thought about setting up decors this year, lol! Nasa attic and tinatamad ako haha!

You know what I love about your posts the most? Your photos are always wow!!!
Really cool photos, your camera angle is always excellent and the photo quality is very nice.
I had to compliment that first before I talk about your goofing around and all that.

The resort environment is absolutely beautiful. I can see you're having great times there. It's nice Christmas is made noticed on every "mber" month, for me over here, it's probably from November ending one sees such, lol.
Nice goofing around dear friend, enjoy your day adding more to your albums.

That sculpture looks rather scary with its really long claws. The hotel resort looks very comfy anyway, but...

Do they decorate the rooms too?

Yeah, at first I thought it was a panda but on checking again, I think it's a koala :)

I don't know if they decorated the hotel rooms but maybe not
