[First] English Full Meal

(Edited)

I didn't realize we never had an English breakfast until we visited Beacon Hill, a beautiful themed eco-park (if I may call it that) in Tublay. We were on our way to the city from our Viscaya trip, and we were famished. The hubby thought we'd try the restaurant at the park. We actually got past it, but we U-turned some hundred meters away.

Upon pulling over, the Farmboy went to the front desk to check if they allowed pets in their food house, and we were glad they did, although only on the first bus. Okay, that was at least fair.

We chose a table outside the bus for more space and a view, and initially sat at one across for some sunshine.

But because a dog kept coming, and Yongi was bothered by it, we moved to the other side, right below the bus.

This is what it looks like inside the bus/resto. I took these photos while waiting for the attendant so I could give our order for the day.

And yeah, our plates were served after some time (about 15 minutes). Tsaran! Our very first English full meal. Their version consisted of bacon, pork & beans, sausage, bread, and fried eggs. The bread wasn't toasted or fried, and there were no tomatoes or mushrooms, but it was okay for us.

I wasn't even sure how to eat the pork and beans, but I scooped some and spread it on the eggs, lol. As there were plenty, I added some to the bread too! The hubby, on the other hand, ate them as they are. We had a cup of caramel macchiato instead of English tea.

The LilGuy got a taste of the sausage but didn't like it. He loved the bacon, though. And so we emptied our plates; nothing was wasted.

We rested for a while after eating and had a photoshoot with the bus as the backdrop. We then went for a hike afterward, to explore more of the place. I will be sharing about that on another day. Until then, have a fabulous Thursday!

The plate looks well arranged.
I don't know if I am weird but I don't enjoy eating bacon.

It's not something extraordinary, but it was okay :) If you get the chance to try it, just do it hehe.

We explored the place for over 2 hours, I think.

Looks like a lovely time. A proper full English would have fried bread, though, and fried mushrooms and fried tomatoes, and maybe some fried blood pudding on the side.

It was. And yes, I realized it is missing some, especially tomatoes and mushrooms, as I've seen them on Tito Ed's posts. Maybe Beacon Hill decided to omit them, especially since they are seasonal.

My stomach wouldn't be able to handle this as breakfast, lol a sausage and bacon is a lunch or dinner 😂

Very creative for making a restaurant out of a bus, would probably also sit outside just to enjoy the broader view of the area with the green scenery :)

Yes. It's very creative of them. There is even another called Elizabeth Cafe, where visitors can have snacks and tea
