Finally...
Happy Fri-Yay!
A little over two weeks here in BC, and finally done with the main chores. The roofs have been coated; the outer wall waterproofed; the attic, cupboards, and cabinets cleared of unnecessary stuff; mini garden beds ready; fencing installed and painted.
And yep, the laundry basket was emptied a little while ago. Our old, dusty but trusty fully automatic top-load washing machine is at work. My only job in the morning would be to hang them.
Whew! I'm feeling so accomplished right now, and I've just given myself a pat on the back. Well done, self!
Still have some work left, but we will get to them next week, because we are keen on having fun tomorrow. It's the town's fiesta after all! And I'd like to check the kiosks, hoping to find some evergreen plants for my small garden. I'm digging Chinese Boxwood, Japanese Hollies, and similar shapeable ones.
Meanwhile, two guys came by in the afternoon asking for my brother. They wish to work for him, saying their contract with their previous boss ended, and they no longer want to renew it. Since neither my Dad nor I could decide, we asked them to come back at another time. They stayed a while for a chat. My Dad took the chance to get to know them better, since he will be dealing with them too, if my brother decides to take them in.
I left them be and continued cleaning the ladder before putting it back in Dad's storage. I can still hear them as they were in the driveway. The presence of the two guys reminded me of my conversation with my father the other day. That made my mind go as busy as my hands. While I had faith that what I told Dad would happen, I didn't expect it so soon. Anyway, I'm quite sure he realized it, too.

You were able to accomplish quite a few tasks. It is a perfect time for a fiesta. Enjoy it.
We did :) It felt fulfilling. Now we are back home to DD to relax a bit. The fiesta was okay :)

Bihira sis. Kumakain na lang kami sa mga food stalls or bumibili na lang kung may kursunadang kainin hehe. Nakakapagod din maglibot pag fiesta hihi

Eyy, guess its a productive week no? Pero ang tagal ko ng di nagamit ng WM, di uso samin yan eh laging handwashing kasi gawa ko 😑. Gusto ko din makaranas nong magsasampay nalang ba 😂
