Farm Stills [The Hubby's Lens]

Hola, frens!

It's been a rainy Thursday with matching thunder and lightning our power went out for a few hours and it warned of another outage around evening time. I was fervently hoping the lights wouldn't go off and thankfully, the heavens listened :)

And so I'm sharing some photographs with permission from the hubby of what he has captured at the new place in the other town.

As the Farmboy narrated, the boys were early that day and so was the rainbow. They were out in the field before 6 in the morning and upon seeing the display in the sky, they got all the more hopeful. "That is a good omen," says the older one among the seven. I said "Amen" to it before the hubby continued.

Just like Will Rogers said, the farmer has to be an optimist or he wouldn’t still be a farmer.😉

Well, who would not wish for great things? They were planting crops after all that would take about 70-90 days of sweat and financial resources plus the expected (and unexpected) factors and circumstances (weather conditions, plant diseases, etc). So all the hope we must have!

But yeah, not just single but double rainbows showed up (the other was barely visible in the photos so one has to look and discern a little more closely but don't strain your eyes😅).

Slightly edited in an attempt to show the other rainbow :)

And before we go on, let me just warn you that the pictures were captured by an amateur using a smartphone so please do not expect too much, lol!😅

The photos below had the timestamps starting at 5:41 am. The rainbow can be vaguely seen as if it is fading away. Turned out, it was just showing up. The first three pictures above were captured 9 minutes later (5:50 am).

I was envious that I hadn't witnessed it myself. Thankfully, I get to see it through the hubby's. Of course, it's still different when you watch it with your very eyes. Most times, photos don't show the real wonders. That made me think I should start waking up early and going in the open to catch my own worms.😊

Around 10 am that day, the sky was clearer and bluer than in the early morning. Thankfully, the sun was hiding behind the clouds, otherwise, the boys would have taken their jackets off.

Around late afternoon, the boys ventured on the creek along the property's boundary. They needed to be shown the irrigation source. While there, the hubby thought of me (his words) so he took some photographs. I haven't been there yet and he just knew how to tease me with the pictures, lol!

The huge rock where the water flows through looked like someone carved and placed it there. It is a perfect fit for the spot. I'd like to think so, well except that "someone" wasn't anyone but nature itself.

And let me conclude this with the other day's fiery sunset which looked like a twister to me at first glance.

Thank you and here's to wishing you a fantabulous day (night) wherever you are! Until we read again😍

Thank you. It was years ago when I saw a double rainbow myself and similar to these, the other one is barely visible :)

Farmboy is very good at capturing pictures and all of the pictures are aesthetic. The Rainbow is beautiful and seeing the rainbow I remembered that I had seen it last time long ago and last time I also saw a double rainbow.

Parang rare na may rainbow sa umaga hehe. Mostly nakikita namin dito is after the rain sa hapon.

Oo din, at least may tubig don, pero pag dry season konti daw so need din magset up ng waterpumps.
