Excuses & Goals [Week 33 Update]

Magandang Buhay :)

We visited another seedlings greenhouse the other day and realized their setup was not what we expected. The trays are on the ground which gets muddy whenever they water them. It's understandable though as setting up a greenhouse is costly so they may need a little more time before they can have shelves or pallets to elevate and keep the trays off the ground. The important thing is that their seedlings are sown and grown on healthy soil (natural compost) which we truly appreciate.

Anyway, it's the weekend on my side of the world and although I have set my mind on going for an early morning walk or a short jog at least before the sun comes out, my body simply didn't allow me to so I'm just gonna blame my hormones, LOL!

Oh la la... Excuses and more...😅

The hubby teased I should not announce things when I'm not serious about doing them. While he was merely joking, it's the truth and it stings, haha! I always felt drained lately, hence the avoidance of certain things. It makes me wonder, do you do the same when you are feeling lazy?

In the past, I usually felt guilty whenever skipping something I promised to do or accomplish. Not anymore now. "It's okay..." my mind automatically reasons out. And it's really okay because I learned not to dwell on circumstances that steal my joy.

There are days, however, when I have more energy than usual and refuse to stop even when circumstances call me to do so. My drive to finish something before the day ends seems unstoppable I would keep pushing as long as the husband doesn't give me that "I'm annoyed" kind of look.😅

Thankfully, some things still keep me on my toes no matter how lazy and crazy my day goes. One is working on my goals and tracking my progress toward them. I credit Hive and the Saturday Savers Club initiative for making me more accountable. And let me take a rundown of how my 33rd week has been concerning my year-end targets.

Hive Power (HP)

  • Current Amount: 22,384 HP
  • Previous Week: 22,192 HP
  • HP Added: 192

According to Hivestats, I had 31 HP as curation rewards (current APR of 9.18% which increased a bit from the usual 8% previously). The APR appears higher when I keep the Voting Mana above 85%. Not sure though but I read from someone that he usually stops curating when his VP is at 90%. Perhaps that's the reason. Just my assumption though so don't take my word for it because what do I know? Lol!

Leo Power (LP)

  • Current: 20,857 (14,638 + 6,220)
  • Previous: 20,688 (14,638 + 6,051)

My Leo Power increased by approximately 168 LEO from last week, inclusive of the 154 LEO which I manually powered up during LPUD and a few more today. Will keep building it albeit slowly.

HBD Savings

It grew to 1,245 from 1,240 last week. Only 5 HBD have been added. Still good. I was listening to theycallmedan's audio on How To Help Hive/HBD unstoppable and thought parking my HBD within the chain is my way of doing so :) I recommend checking it out if you haven't already done so.

Yep, the week has been generally wonderful and I'm grateful as always. Thank you and until next time!

That greenhouse bit is going to get problematic later on though...

The plants roots would stretch through the baskets to the soil and would bond the basket to the soil.

If they are seedlings and are intended to be sold...

Well, I guess you get my drift...

They had plastic under the trays but yeah, that could be the case in the longer run. It's just good that the seedlings are usually taken out within 20-30 days of sowing. It could be a tough job cleaning after.

Congratulations @ifarmgirl! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain And have been rewarded with New badge(s)

You received more than 26000 HP as payout for your posts, comments and curation.
Your next payout target is 27000 HP.
The unit is Hive Power equivalent because post and comment rewards can be split into HP and HBD

That's good to see that your HP and LP both are now 20k+. It's very interesting and It will be more interesting if LP and HP become the same when LP crosses 22k. I am waiting to see such a situation.

I didn't even realize they are both above 20k, lol! I think the HP will grow a bit faster than the LP.

The greenhouse looks so big but I still don’t know the essence of a greenhouse
I know so many people have greenhouses on here

Greenhouses are for different uses here, some for flowers, others for growing veggies, and some for seedlings for sale.

it's one of those things when you miss your daily routine target, you just get very upset with yourself. It's doesn't always solve the problem anyway unless you chose to be disciplined next time.
It good to offset such upsets to keep a good day.

Ah just shows your like many of us, human, hehe. I do the same often when this happens to me I alter my plans. I guess it's better than parking on the couch but rest is important too.

Wow impressive the 20/20 club you certainly are maximizing your efforts here. Oh how I wish I could accumulate almost 200 HP in one week, impressive!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend :-)

Haha, true though. We can't always be upbeat and it's okay.

The low price of HIVE allows us to earn and buy more (quantity). 😉 Thank you and have a great weekend too xD

The low price of Hive has made it tough for me to keep HBD in savings, I keep moving it and trading it for some hehe
