Coming Home

We drove away from DD in the morning and came home to the other side of the mountain. Dad must have missed us so much he couldn't stop talking when we arrived, lol! I think because he and my husband are both chatty, they get along so well. They seem tireless when they are together; they could chat for hours! Their topics can go from trucks to farming, to this person or that, and what they had been doing since they last saw each other. Sometimes I get amused when overhearing what they are talking about. But I usually stay away to avoid nasty headaches, lol!

Meanwhile, I had a hectic afternoon unpacking some stuff. Add to that, my lil boy, who seemed to be trying to familiarize himself with the new environment (it's been over a month since we were here.

He fell from the bar table because he kept stepping back while growling at Dad. It was too late for me to catch him, and he wailed in pain, especially since his head hit the floor first. I thought he would bleed or something, but thankfully, nothing like that happened. He became really quiet afterward and just sat still for the next hour or so. I am unsure if he was trying to process what went wrong, but he never howled at Dad again after his fall.

Anyway, he deserved a treat, so I gave him one of his favorite Stix, which he enjoyed on the mat. The husband, on the other hand, drove back to DD. He needed to purchase a new tank for our water supply. We might stay here for a few weeks, and I don't wish to run out of water. This is one of the things I don't like, the lack of water supply during the dry season.

Smile... laugh often... love more... be grateful always!

It’s lovely to see that harmony between them, even if it gives you a headache sometimes 😄

He is. Too clingy at times.😅 He'd scratch the couch or the walls if I didn't give him attention😁

The world of the mountains is different. The peace we find there is not what we find in our city. And it is a fact that when we are living together, when one member goes somewhere, we keep missing the other quite a lot.

Yes, the mountainside has a certain vibe which isn't found in the city.

Father in-laws and their inlaws are always chatting, I experienced it a lot with my husband and my dad, I never knew it was like that in most places. I think they are trying to bond and build closeness. Greetings to your lil boy hope he's not quite because he was injured, please take care of him.
