Be Gentle on My Curves
So we left DD at 6 am with the big truck, traversing through the winding roads and highways of towns, crossing regional borders bafore mid-morning. Listening to the call of nature, we stopped by the roadside where we enjoyed the shed of tall trees, and Yongi got his wee walks and rest too.

We hit the road again after an hour or so. There was no rush, well except when we felt hungry, lol! So the husband stepped on the gas to find a food place, and that was when we caught a glimpse of this gentle reminder from the town of Kayapa, Nueva Viscaya.

Be gentle on my curves, it said, a beautiful way of saying "Drive Safely." (The roads are curvy that's why). So we slowed down a bit, even gave way to speeding SUVs and vans. We didn't want a race, so go ahead, but be careful☺️
Anyway, we ate at a small foodhouse where we had fish (Tilapia) for the first time in months, or was it years? I don't even remember. But what a good change that was! As it is Sunday, most establishments were closed, so there wasn't much of a choice.
After the meal, we took the road again, passing through bridges and such. Beautiful weather, yay!

At 2 pm, we reached Bambang, where we found a place to park and cool down a bit.
Some fifty yards or so away, I noticed a lovely reflection (of palm tree branches) on a house's glass walls. Zoomed my phone cam to 10x and got these shots.

We left the parking zone at 4 and proceeded to the farm store for supplies. The hubby wanted a particular product, which he couldn't find elsewhere. They need it for the bell pepper. After the farm store, it was time to visit the cousin. We would be spending the night here and we take the road to the city tomorrow morning for a wee adventure. Only a few days remain, and the new year comes!

In the road that many are rectles, better drive slowly and give way rather than to complete.
As long as safe sis, 😄
Happy holidays
True sis. Minsan mainitin ulo ng hubby kaya need remind din.
Thank you sis, and same sa inyo🥰
One of the common cause of death Rin ito SA province Namin sis. Car accident. Kaya better safe than sorry.
Btw sis nice reflections. Capture mo pa Rin kahit malayo😁
Same sis, kahit gaano kaingat ang isang driver kung yung iba naman ay hindi, meron at meron napapahamak.

The way of saying to drive safely is quite interesting. I really liked the way.
In case of place, I think it's a very beautiful place. I would love to pay a visit there someday if I get opportunity.

To see natural sights, we have to travel around the world in the same way that we have to see things in our own city. When we go on long trips, we get to learn a lot.
That's very true. We may not see every corner of the earth, but at least we get to experience and see the places around us.
Such a peaceful road trip, with a really nice end-of-year vibe.Loved how you captured the scenery and calm moments along the way.
Thank you. It was a wonderful time for the three of us.
That sign 'Be gentle on my curves' is absolutely genius. It’s such a poetic reminder to slow down, not just on the road, but in life too. Thanks for sharing this little slice of peace and a great life lesson 🏝️🚗🍃
It sure is. I love how they put it kind of perfectly :)
