Amusement & Such at Pikaw Resort

(Edited)

Coming from Bila Rd, we dropped by the Pikaw Hotel and Resort (or Clark Grand Resort Hotel) to satiate our curiosity about the place. Getting through the gate, Santa welcomed us, two Santas actually - one with his bag and another with a deer.

We parked in front of the hotel and had a quick viewing of the immediate surroundings where we bumped into my cousin and her in-laws so we invited them for coffee. We had light afternoon snacks - coffee, halo-halo, cheese sticks, and fruit salad (no pics taken (except for the reflection on the table as I was respecting the privacy of our guests, hehe).

We thought they were pet-friendly as we have seen some dogs roaming around the parking grounds but then, there was a signage by the door that said pets aren't allowed. Sigh. So yep, Yongi stayed in the car while we (guiltily) enjoyed our treats at the table.

Anyway, the landscapes and structures near the parking area are lovely and fascinating.

Do you see Tarzan? One can climb to the top of this and have a 360 (well, not quite) view of the place.

Let's go for a quick look, shall we? I just love how the staircase was creatively done! It creates anticipation as one climbs.

Here are some pictures from up there (courtesy of the husband as I'm yet to conquer my fear of heights). The resort is still getting some work done, so while the hotel and restaurant are open for business, the other facilities are not (swimming pools, etc).

The greenery scenery in the distance is quite breathtaking. I imagine this looks even more beautiful in the morning when the sun peeks through the mountain and its rays spread across the area.

Going down, we see some amusing, giant animal statues (they aren't sculptures, are they?) I can't help but grin looking at the playful Garfield.😁

Here's one of the interesting sculptures - the hand with painted fingernails, lol!

But yeah, it's quite picturesque on the other side :) For some reason, we were not tempted to climb it. Kids would love this for sure.

The stonework on the stairs, archway, walling, and other areas is impressive! It's no surprise as Mt. Province is known for their crafty and expert stone masons.

And some more interesting stuff nearer and farther. We are just about halfway around the place.

The resort is vast so we will see more of it on another day. Thank you for coming along and hope you enjoyed this short adventure as much as we did.

Happy Friday, frens!

What a nice neat resort to hang out at. I like how you are able to climb stairways on some of them to get those better views from around. I haven't seen Garfield in awhile that made me kind chuckle to, hehe. Happy Friday there!

Unfortunately, it isn't pet-friendly. We kept our puppy in the car. The restaurant says no to dogs.

It was okay. Maybe they will make adjustments and be more pet-friendly in the future.

But first customers will have to demand for such consideration. Did you?
