A Visit to the Lil Kingdom [Some Nostalgia]
It's the weekend, yay! Magandang buhay💚
The hubby was supposed to be out with his cousins for some errands in preparation for the wake of their cousin-in-law, but some things are not ready yet, so it has been postponed to tomorrow. And that also means we are not going home to the other place, at least not soon.
And so, we will make the most out of our time here in DD. We are not moving for good, just a quick vacation, sort of. Our house in the mountains needs some love and warmth, as we haven't lived in it for a long while, so we decided it's time we give it attention. We've only stayed in it for a year (or even less). We left it for the Lil Kingdom (4+ years), and then we moved to DD in mid-2024.
Speaking of, I've been missing this view since. Gee, it's been that long! But yeah, it felt nostalgic to be there again the other day, with the sky so bright and blue. The Tisa tree is still there, withstanding many a storm, even the harsh Uwan of last year.
This was our favorite spot in the front yard, especially at sundown, where we often enjoyed the different colors of the sky, and even in mornings when the fog blankets the valley. (The photos below were previously shared here.)

It was good to see that the shrubs, other plants, and the roses are still thriving, despite the lack of care and attention. They truly are resilient.

I was to take more photos, but a cousin arrived, and we got distracted with a deep conversation and some chismis, and even my plan to pick some mandarin oranges had been forgotten, all because of some freaking gossip about properties and such, lol!
Anyway, only time will tell if we ever get to stay (live) there again. The property is ours and will remain so (no plans to sell it). It's just that we can't be in three different places, especially since the hubby's focus is here in DD, where there is a lot to improve and build, to make it sustainable, even when we won't be around much.
But who knows, things will change. They always do, don't they? Until then, we continue to enjoy life. Happy month-end!💚
