A Lil Pic-Story

It's a drizzly Thursday evening in DD which is better than what earlier forecasts say that the Super Typhoon Usagi (Ofel) has intensified and is keeping most people on the already disaster-ravaged island of Luzon on alert. Natural calamities seem to love battering our country it gets scary at times.

Anyway, the weather was lovely yesterday so we hit the road for a little adventure. As always, I was randomly pointing and shooting at stuff while we were speeding off. Taking pictures of almost anything along the way - like this small community nestled between hills and mountains.

Or signposts, shadows, and stuff.😅

Or decorations like these that made me feel like Christmas is just around the corner.

Or some catchy and interesting little phrases along the way.

"Alone, we can do so little. Together, we can do so much..." What a cool and perfect motto for a community as it encourages unity among its residents! I love, love, love it!

And yep, I even took an interest in road warning signs such as this.

And no, it's not to be taken lightly for it is such an important reminder or warning to motorists approaching certain sections of the rocky highway. I'm sure these sights would make anyone shiver or imagine something nasty but I always thank G for his traveling mercies.

Of course, I'm not forgetting to include one of the most amusing prints I've seen during the day. I even asked the hubby to drive a little faster just so I could take a pic of it.

Love is easy but I am busy, the mudguard reads.

So it is safe to assume that the man behind the wheel could be a workaholic (or simply playing coy, lol!) Oh well, at least he has a good sense of humor. It did remind me not to take life and circumstances way too seriously.

Smile... laugh often... love more... be happy and grateful always!

Ahh I don't know what with the November! Typhoon's that consecutively hit the country. It's scary and I felt sad to all affected areas .

They are still suffering from Kristine aftermath.

I don't know what's wrong because I can't see the pictures. After waiting a while only half of the picture was revealed and I think it's not an internet connectivity problem either as the speed is quite fast.

The good news is that while I finished writing the comment, all the pictures loaded and I can see those. So, I needed an extra reward as I waited to see those pictures. !LOL
