A Lil Photo Story

They drove off for an adventure and the journey started before 6 am. The sun was yet to shine but it did show some colors on the farthest horizon - a good sign of a lovely day.


After an hour's drive, they noticed some landslides along the way. Thankfully, the road was still passable although vehicles had to pass one at a time as the other lane was blocked by fallen rocks or eroded soil.


At least the half-tunnel was intact and the other side of the road was clear they even sighted some sea of clouds afar.


Halfway through the trip, the sky showed them some blues and lovely clouds.


They get to see fluffy clouds blanketing the hills and mountains. They couldn't help but snap tons of pictures as the vehicle ran. The scenery felt like they were at the highest altitude.


The cottony cloud looked as though it was just within reach they wished they could touch it, even imagining how soft and squeezy it must be, lol!


And aha! How cool that even the splashes of water were caught on camera when they were aiming at the clouds in the distance. Such a fantastic accident, huh?


As always, they were fascinated by the waterfall on the rocky side of the road. Not that it was there before. The falls come out naturally during the wet season, especially when it rains incessantly.


Looking ahead and back, they see curvaceous, majestic mountains. They have traversed that highway countless times and are always awed by the landscape.


And yes, some of the road walls have gotten some colors. They sighted a mural showing people in their traditional costumes playing gongs and dancing. Of course, they took a few snapshots of it.


Another hour on the trip and they were starving. They stopped by the restaurant to get a fill. They were served with black coffee and a full platter of a rice meal set. It was their first time for such a set in that food house and it didn't disappoint.


Their furry companion behaved as usual. He wasn't in the mood to munch on anything and just sat on the chair, quietly looking around and observing.


They spent almost an hour enjoying their food and the peaceful ambiance of the restaurant. And then it was finally time to get back on the wheels and onto their intended destination which they would surely write about on another day, lol!

Full of natural vibes. It should be nice travelling through these pleasant nature, fluffy clouds, huge mountains, the water falls etc... lovely photo collection

Nice its the same here. But recently we had a severe landslide due to continuous rainfall. A whole town was washed away.

I am amazed to see all of those fascinating sights. I wish I were there to enjoy the beauty in my own eyes. I know it's not possible now but someday hope to get the opportunity.

It was a nice early morning trip. Yongi loved looking out the windows like he knows how to enjoy the view, hehe. Thank you, !LADY ❤️

Judging by the amazing photos, this route is extremely dangerous, I would think a hundred times before risking driving on a road with rocks falling from a mountain :) !VSC

That's true. That highway is considered one of the most dangerous highways in the country, especially during the rainy or stormy season.

A mountainside is like a sandwich with sausage on butter, you can never predict when the sausage will slide off the baguette :). !BEER

Haha, truth there! Thankfully, we have not experienced being in any dangerous situation while traveling that route.

The roads, the landscape, the clouds and the skies are all so lovely. I look at the road network and the beautiful places on the way, I would just say your country is very beautiful...
A beautiful trip and I know you really had a wonderful time.
