A Lil Memory

Magandang buhay!

Another loud day (well, just about two hours anyway) in DD, as Mr. K suddenly decided to do some harvesting upon hearing that the price of veggies doubled. Can't blame him, of course. Who doesn't get FOMO when things like that happen? Most of us (if not all) want more moolah, yeah? LOL!

Thankfully, they were 21 this time (young and energetic, mostly in their mid-20s to early 30s), so the job was done in under two hours. It started at 10 am (after the morning mass), and everything was loaded by 11:30. And they all left quickly after their meal, and our place got quieter once more, like they'd never been here at all. Well, except Mr. K had to take care of the dishes and things.

Anyway, speaking of the fields, it's been a long while since we did this grounding or earthing thing. This was in June last year, when we came here to DD. It was kinda summery, and the LilGuy was just too excited to run around. Since I could not leave him by himself, I kicked my clogs away and walked barefoot on the field. And I liked it!

I usually feel squirmy when my feet touch the ground, so I wondered if I ever got to play in the dirt as a child (I have no memory of it, and that was one of the things I didn't get to ask my mom).

I do remember her mentioning before that I was too quiet as a toddler, that she could leave me alone for a while, come back, and I would still be where she left me. I don't move at all, huh! So maybe I wasn't really an active person ever since, because I tend to love lazy days more, lol!

That got me thinking, since we don't get to go for walks or hikes these days (like we used to in the Lil Kingdom), we should probably challenge ourselves to go out in the field and get dirty connected to the earth's electrical energy nature often. Just a thought, but would benefit us greatly if we did it.

The teamwork, rising veggie prices, and your memories of grounding made it feel really warm and real. Amazing how connecting with nature brings so much joy.

Hmm doubled the prices? You know why?

That sounds a good reason to harvest ASAP and sell lol

Oo sis, nakaligtas yung mga pananim dito. Pero yung iba sa other town, sira na lalo mga patatas na isang buwan pa lang, kaya malungkot dn yung mga nagtanim.

Hehe, hindi nga raw ako makulit or magalaw. Saka ang taba ko kasi noon, nkita ko sa pix haha.

It’s nice how you shared both your busy day and your memories of being close to nature. Harvesting veggies and grounding really do remind us how important it is to stay connected to the earth. Makes me want to spend more time outdoors too. Thanks for the reminder.

Life may be sad, but when we go to places with such natural scenery and take down our favorite things from the trees or some other things, this day definitely becomes special and memorable for us.

That's quite right. Nature has its own charms that make us feel better :)

The veggie-price FOMO cracked me up, honestly. But I get it.

And walking barefoot sounds like one of those things you don’t expect to enjoy but end up loving. Especially since you said you usually get squirmy touching the ground. Feels like a small personal win.

That's good, at least something made you laugh, hehe.

It was a win indeed. Funny though that while I wanted to experience it again today, I ended up keeping my footwear on, !LOL

Walking bare food on ground gives good feeling to me also but there are risk to do so. We can be injured if there is any glass particles on grounds and similar types of things.

That's true. We must be careful, or at least choose where to do it.
