A Hectic Sabado [Week 45]
Magandang buhay!
It was a super hectic day for us, so I've not really been around the blockchain today. I took care of laundry in the morning, and then did my DIY project the rest of the day, while the hubby got busy with his experiments in the field.
The weather was generally nice. Sunny and warm around mid-morning toward late afternoon, so yay! I went out early evening to take Yongi's mats from the clothesline when I caught a glimpse of the gorgeous sunset. Glad to have seen and enjoyed it for a quick moment before it disappeared, although no picture was taken as my phone was inside the house. But the color was similar to this.
Anyway, as I logged on to my computer, I suddenly remembered missing to process payments for our savings via HMDF (Pag-ibig). Darn my phone calendar for not reminding me about it on time, no thanks to my paranoia (I disabled it last month, hence no reminders whatsoever, lol). Another month skipped, yikes!
Speaking of savings, it's Saturday and week 45 in the year is concluding. With that comes the weekly progress update. There had been no change in my Sats before, but a little amount was added this time (3,128), bringing the week's balance to 262,328. Very slow growth, but it's still okay with me. Perhaps one of this months, the price will drop and we will take the chance to add some more.
The HBD Savings, on the other hand, grew by 27, mainly from the previous month's interest. Small but compounds monthly. My bank account doesn't even earn like this. And even if it does, there will be a deduction (tax). Compared to saving here on-chain, we get the full interest every 30 days. No transaction fees.
The Hive Power increased by 208 in the week, bringing the balance to 29,594 (from 29,386 last Saturday). Only 406 remains for it to cross the 30k mark. The very low price of HIVE made that possible. Curation plus author rewards add up, even when the dollar value is less.
Generally, the week has been good, and we are grateful as always. Cheers and until tomorrow🩷

Congrats on your progress! I hate it too when I forget my phone for pictures but at least you got to just enjoy the sunset for a bit!

Even with such a busy day, you still found time to appreciate the sunset and stay consistent with your savings. Slow and steady progress really does pay off.

For this one, the reddish hue looks beautiful. I usually forget taking my phone along when going for short and near errands, great to do sometimes, but oh well, some incredible experiences can't be captured.
It's nice to enjoy the moment, without any phone or camera. We really get to appreciate what we see, without the lens between our eyes :)

Sunset is always attractive to me. I love to enjoy the sunset all the time as it give me relaxation.
