InkTober and CreativeCoin

InkTober is upon us. I bought 100,000 CCC to curated the event and I am really hoping that participants include the tag #creativecoin for their InkTober creations.

InkTober drawings make great memes. So, I bought bought 1 million #PEPE which trigger on the tag #MEME. I also have 28,000 VYB and 1200 POB. These trigger on #proofofbrain or POB.

I think that #inktober is an ideal #proofofbrain contest because it involves drawing images to prompts from a third party.

Of course, I am violating my own sensibilities with this post as I failed to complete the picture I had been working on; so i used an ai image for the post.

As you see I need to write a post to implore participants to include the #creativecoin tag on their drawings.

NOTE: this account @idoodle does not have much in the way of HP; so there is no point in my upvoting posts that don't have the creativecoin tag.

What Is InkTober?

InkTober is an annual contest that challenges artists to draw a picture a day during the month of October. Jake Parker started the challenge in 2009 and it has been a favorite social media challenge ever since.

ZingTober

Last year the Holozing program gave additional rewards.

This year Holozing says that will give special awards for posts that use the ZINGTOBER tag and who draw pictures for the prompts: deer, heavy, drink, blunder, deal, arctic, rivals, blast, rowdy and award.

My Stab at InkTober

Although I am not an artist, I tried competing in challenge. I discovered that it takes me from 8 to 12 hours to draw and prep an ink drawing for the web. I also am prone to mistakes which cause me to ruin the image. So, I never completed the challenge.

I started drawing a picture for this post two days ago. It is 1 AM on October 1st ... and I am not done.

AI Images

I've been wondering about the effects of AI on the arts: so, last year i created ai entries for the challenge on Night Cafe.

What I am thinking of doing this year is to use the @idoodle account to publish a daily collection post.

Conclusion

I did not finish the picture I was drawing, but I really wanted to publish a post to implore participants to add the tag #creativecoin to their inktober drawings.

I know that 100,000 CCC isn't worth alot but it took me a long time to accumulate the 100K CCC for this contest.

Good luck to all who undertake the challenge.

Maybe, i should just do pencil drawings for the event. I could complete 31 pencil drawings.

It is late and i need to retire.
