Zoos or Jails? The Truth About Animal Care Around the World

Almost everyone have their own pet at home nowadays and I can tell everyone loves animals of all kinds doesn't matter if they're pet or in the wild

Those animals hold a lot value to us and this ecosystem. It's like we can't survive without them and taking care of those speechless animals are our priority

Ever since I was a kid I had this urge to have a cat at home but not as a pet more like a pet as a guest that often visits, eat, plays a little bit and leave

I'd rather have animals set free even if I have to spend money on them to set free I"d still do.

Ain't a type of person who will pay to zoo's and visit the places that's holding those animals behind bars

I still remember this one story from childhood days when I found a bird

When I saw a bird on the Street

I was like 6 years probably when I found a bird on the street that was just on it's feet walking around and when I decided to go closer it didn't fly

Realised it couldn't fly so I caught her and brought at home

That time we had two chicks and I was taking care of them so I put that bird in the same place as those chicks

I was gone for a while and later cameback just to see the bird is no more cause those chicks have done screwed that bird up

Only if I knew it will end up like that wouldn't have ever kept both in the same place but that was a lesson like they're not meant to be kept at home but to be set free.

It tells another lesson to like you can keep the animals in zoo but on one condition

Some animals can't survive wild

Let's say that bird I kept together with chicks is like a pet in the wildlife, it won't survive an hour or a day

And in most cases when an animal is injured, abandoned in the wild after They're born - they are far better in zoo or animals shelter where they can grow up and they'll survive but only if we are taking care otherwise they won't last long in the wild.

Zoo's are jail only when

I have seen zoo's in my country and also have seen those zoo's in the western countries the difference is south Asian countries mostly have jails not zoo

While the western countries have zoo's cause they feed those animals, let em see the sunshine and are kept in such environment that still feels like wild even though it's not the wild

Here when I visited zoo it was just the jail like lion that's locked in the cell and that lion have a physique of a cat like you can look at it and tell that poor thing haven't ate anything in the days.

Poor countries where people are hungry shouldn't have zoo's cause they can't even feed their people how are you going to feed those animals? Right?

Wrapping Up...

In the end most of us want to keep the animals out of any problems, give them an environment they deserve, where they can nurture and make our ecosystem better

Zoo's help us but not all of zoo's are doing good job, some of those management deserve to go behind the bars and hopefully their will be a day when people who do injustice to speechless animals will be held accountable.
