Why I’m Trading Travel for Twenties: A 9-to-5 Confession

It's been a long time since I've travelled anywhere like outside 20km radar from the city I've not been anywhere else for even a single day

and now I know why people in this era are afraid of getting jobs cause they don't want to lose their comfort zone and the life they're living at the moment being hooked in mobile phone and going wherever they want anytime

Meanwhile it's too different in my case cause I only get one off in a week and on that day I only managed to finish my chores like washing clothes, getting haircut etc.

I've been traveling a lot and tiredlessly

For me daily commute is the traveling I do and it happens on like daily basis that makes me hella tired cause what's the point of waking up at 7 am

And going to bus stop, travel for about an hour to reach workplace

And do the 9 hour shift and than comeback through the same bus which will consume another hour

You only get to travel from work to home and home to work which is making me pissed and upset cause I should be doing better than this but well it's another phase of life I can't escape because of financial situation

Tried to Get holidays to travel but

They denied and didn't gave holidays off that schedule even though I told them my cousins are coming from Karachi and we're planning to travel northern side to cool off in this summer

But guess what everyone in the family went there together except me cause I got no off

And was going to work and was kind of pissed on all of coworkers cause they deserve it.

But anyways I still have plans to go travel with the fam and doesn't really matter if they give those off or no I'll still do it cause no way I'm throwing off all the fun from life just because of 9 to 5.

it was just a family dinner

When those cousins arrived here I thought it's just the perfect time to go out and have family reunion dinner

And there was this restaurant with quite a peaceful and amazing aesthetics so enjoyed the dinner which was delicious and yea that's all we've had together for now.

They're all going to Kashmir or murree side together (hill) and I'm not sure if I'll make it

So yea it's been almost a half year I've been going to work and from work to home, nothing like traveling to mountain or elsewhere which isn't fun and it's just getting exhausting at this point.

You're lucky if you're able to travel cause I'm still waiting for that part in my life, maybe will save traveling for the later part of my life and will spend my twenties building wealth instead of enjoying or having fun.

I guess most people will agree with working at your twenties than traveling or enjoying it.. do share what's your thoughts and how you'd have spend it in the comments.
