Whispers in the Village: How Stigmas Hurt Us All
image using Ai.
I have seen people who don't even care or think twice before they spit something that hurts other feelings out of their mouth.
But well it's time to talk about those annoying and worst stigmas spread into our society by these people.
The Stigma of Body Shaming
I've seen this happening like on routine basis with people that they call out people for how they look or making comments on their appearance
Right Infront of that other person which sucks cause somehow people find a way to point out other person no matter if they're minding their own business

Like I've this friend of mine who's quite skinny and I know skinny people are skinny because of how that metabolism works and despite of eating they don't gain weight easily
So people used to give him comments like "eat something, you don't get to eat anything?" Haha, funny and that guy was just watching that with a smile like it ain't hurting.
Or Making Fun of Financial Condition
You know what's more sickening nowadays? Is that people make fun of someone's else financial conditions like if someone spot a poor person at a mall or something where rich people walk around
And spend money Without caring about it, actually when they see the poor ones clearly dressed up like one are often get mocked or made fun
If they're rich spoiled kids with friends they gonna talk about that person in group for like the entire day thinking it's funny but it really isn't.

There's also this stigma that the poor are poor because they're lazy, they don't work hard enough
But in reality it's the state that has made them poor and are responsible because they don't give them the same opportunities
The Stigma around these workers
Our society is too bad for calling some of these workers with unrespectful names at street or Infront of others
Like those people who are cleaner and such careers are mostly been looked down by the other people
Now if someone who's uneducated ended up with a cleaning career, does it make sense to look down on that person since you've done graduation and are doing 100 times better career than that person?
Nah, it doesn't.. you don't have to look down on anyone.. but if you're insecure you would do it over and over again and remember it doesn't make you superior.
showing no emotions...
Often we men are told to not show any kind of emotions at the worst case scenario or situation like losing one of your own parents
And being told not to cry at all cause you're a man... This stigma that men aren't supposed to show emotions kinda sucks.
Wrapping Up...
In the end there's many more bad and annoying stigmas out there and it does have effect on person confidence, relationship and trust
So it's better to be careful with what we do and say to someone.. we're the members of society so we're supposed to do better in order to build a better society where these stigma don't exist in the future.
I'd love to know what's your thoughts on this, do share in the comments.
