When Excuses Go Too Far: The Line Between Clever and Cruel

One thing every person do in life is making excuses in different situations to escape it or save themselves from the troubles

I've seen people making excuses since I was a kid until now it hasn't changed much Everytime when you get late you'll see people making the same excuse they once made in childhood.

It works out most of the time but some people just cross the line while trying to make excuses and I'm going to share some of those ahead in this blog.

The Unbelievable Excuse For Being Late

I've seen people making this one excuse from childhood to adulthood, from school to workplace and it is just so unbelievable like how can they even say it

So that excuse is like "my grandma or grandpa was sick, or died" that's why I'm late or was absent yesterday

Meanwhile it's just a lie they say to save themselves from that situation and I feel so awkward even mentioning that in my blog and than there's some people who don't even flinch saying it to the person.

I've seen the same excuse in school when students were late or absent and haven't completed homework, they'll just say oh it's because my grandma was sick or died

Everyone will feel bad but when you'll ask that person if it actually happened.. he's going to be like "nah, she died a decade ago".

The Excuse I Made

So I remember one time when I was running late to work, the scenario that was going on in my mind was "what will be the excuse?" To save myself

And realised I'm getting late because I was on my phone, didn't realised about the time

So excuse should be close to reality which will make it easy for me to deliver and they'll believe

Most of the time when I try to lie about something, I end up laughing like it's all on that person face

I told my boss I got late because i left my phone on charge at night after setting alarm but forgot to turn on the switch

So the alarm didn't worked and I woke up late that's why I'm late today.

What was his reply? Yikes, man that hurts and I've been through it myself lol.

I was like nah this turned into relateable thing which is something I wasn't expecting at all.

Wrapping Up...

In the end there are times when you've no choice but to make excuses to save yourself from getting fined or they cut from salaries often.

So, going with the most unbelievable ones like faking someone's death ain't the good way to do it

Instead be more realistic and real without bringing someone else into your problem, blaming my phone won't do any bad to anyone emotion or something that's the point most people miss when they fake someone death as an excuse.
