The Truth Behind the News: How Mainstream Media Shapes Our Perception

In every household there's one or two person in the family who watch news channels everyday like it's a secret diet or they're so addicted to it.

in this era there's still an entire generation who is watching mainstream media everyday and hour seeing those latest news being shown on the television screens.

News channel that broadcast news 24 hours and 7 days, they're live all the time showing latest news around the world or country to targeted audience and those audience is now mostly old people who are over 40-50.

Like in my house the only person who watch news and media with interest is my grandma and she thinks everything being showed in that news channel is truth.

The Reality of Mainstream Media: Only Show News they want us to see

There's not a single mainstream media or television news channel that isn't owned by the officials like in my country we know this news channel shows news that favours this political party and that other news channel shows news that only favour other political party.

Those channels broadcast all of country matters according to what they want us to think and it's nothing but a pure manipulation especially for the older people who watch news everyday and than later discuss that in the family.

The Citizens have right to know everything

That is happening in the country no matter how devastating it is and these news channels don't show the news like if someone is protesting over a matter that goes against the government there's high probability it won't appear in the media at all.

Everything that's against government, they just don't show those things on the news channel and even if something appears on social media they easily take it down.

It's been months now since government unofficially banned X (twitter) just because people were talking against the government and citizens somehow started knowing more than they should know and government just knew this can't work like this so they banned X from this country.

is there any such thing as freedom of speech in mainstream media?

The news anchor reports to citizens what happened and why it happened and most of the time they don't have freedom of speech to broadcast specific things so they make weird news outlines to represent their motives.

Sometimes I wonder if these journalists even have any sort of freedom of speech left or they're just sticking to their scripts and doing roleplay Infront of television.

Wrapping Up...

After all these years one thing I'm sure now is to not believe mainstream media and everything they show us on the television.

It's broken and needs to be fixed which will only happen when there's news that aren't getting censored or there's no propaganda or agenda behind it.

There's only one platform other than hive that I rely on for the news which is X and unfortunately it is banned in this country so it says a lot about the kind of corrupt mainstream media.
