The Psychology of Narratives: Why You’ll Never HODL the Same Narrative or Meta's
and there's a whole psychology that goes behind and I want to discuss some of the important things that I've noticed from this cycle.
Like how bitcoin is above $100k while altcoins are at it's low from bear market which is absurd but let's be real it is even more boring because there's not much narrative left
And the one that exists are either irrelevant or just not worthy anymore but is it the whole truth?
The narrative fades away, Meta always changes
Every year there's a new meta and there's always has been changes and it will be like this because throughout the years on internet every year there's new trend, old one dies everyone forgets about it and new one replace the old trend

Right? The same goes around with narrative, it fades away and new meta take place
Like 2023 it was etf narrative, ai narrative and if we go back into 2021 it was nfts, web 3.0 and more
If we go years back there will be narrative much older not many of you can even remember
They're not exciting to anyone anymore that's why they die.
human tends to move on
When they use something everyday like regularly they get so used to with it that there comes a day when they no longer finds it exciting
And that day you'll move on because it became boring
All these Meta's and narratives would've been here if it wasn't the human psychology
We all want to keep things interesting that's why human have made such progress, we came from those stone age era to this because of our curiosity and because we seek more interesting things and thrill in life.
You'll never listen to the same song forever
I've rarely seen any person listening a single same song from years like it won't ever feel the same way as you used to feel about it in the starting days
The more you listen to that song the more easily you'll get fed up with it
Your playlist will keep on changing over the time, there's always going to be a new song
Some of the songs I used to listen on repeat are now being ignored by me whenever they are on the play I'll just skip it to the new one that sounds more better to me.
No one talks about old narratives and meta
The same music theory can be applied to these crypto narratives we had in past and now
Whenever I see a post about nft from anyone on X or any social media platforms I just skip it without even reading
But what I find more interesting is something that's new, a new narrative is always like something I'd hang onto
And everyone else react the same way so the more early you find a new narrative the more amount of money you can make
it's always about being early
When you find new narrative you're early to it and rest of people join you later and that's how you make money off it
Like in 2023 that Ai narrative boom made early believers rich while the one who doubted at first and joined later somehow got dumped by those who came in early.
It's the two way street, you have to find narrative early and also you'll have to get bored with that narrative quick otherwise you'd loose it all like people did on nfts and other meta's.
Wrapping Up...
In the end at this point of the crypto cycle I don't think there's much narrative left that are interesting anymore so we're near to the end
Where most people will be bag holding like they did with nfts
But I hope we'll find a new narrative that'll make people hang on. as long as people have hopes I guess we'll be fine.
