The Illusion of Freedom: Unmasking Society's Unspoken Services
image using Ai.
There's only one country that is north Korea where people don't have basic rights and no one can leave country or they do mandatory service their entire life living in that country.
In rest of the world we're free to do whatever service we can if it's legal and there's nothing mandatory.
If you want to join army, you're free to do that and if other occupations like doctors, teachers etc people can become what they want and serve in the country but there's still some things that are mandatory made by the society that is nothing like official but a norm.
When I was a Kid I thought it's mandatory to serve in Army
While growing I saw most of the parents wanted their kids to join in the army and I thought it is because this is mandatory to join and serve country because our country needs more soldiers.
But now after growing up I realised those parents wanted a future for their kids better than everyone else.
They saw what I couldn't and that thing was the kind of money you can make after joining army is something not happening in any other profession.
It was literally made mandatory by parents to either join army, become a doctor and there's no in between.
Corruption is a mandatory service
Sometimes I wonder what it'll be like to live in a country where corruption isn't a thing at all but all my life ever since I was a kid I've heard this and that official person did corruption.
People who are given opportunity and are supposed to serve people living in the country are the one who's milking this country every chance they get.
Most of the government departments are where you'll see corrupt people and they do have a well settled job with a good salary package

But In there 10-20 years career they don't miss a chance to do corruption. It's like they've took an oath or something which makes it mandatory to find a way to do corruption.
It's better off being scrapped
First I want to see the end of corruption which is something impossible but only if young generation comes to the same page altogether we can fix it.
It won't be mandatory to work in jobs only based on reference but merit. It won't be mandatory anymore to do corruption when you'll be raised with this intention of giving back to country and building it instead of just milking it and ruining whenever you get the chance.
Instead of spending billions of dollars on army it will better off if we scrap that budget and build infrastructure, spend on education and other departments.
Wrapping Up...
In the end nowadays I'm kinda worried about how things are going on in my country so I thought it would be good to talk about those things in this post.
There's nothing more worse than seeing people in power who are incapable and are total illiterate making decisions of the country.
Now people are realising what these mandatory services are and from how long it's been just like this.
I wonder if it's same in your place or it's just here. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

All things being equal those times that is made compulsory for the people to serve should be times of massive development but the reverse is the case due to the level of corruption. I just hope things are done differently
